MYZTIQUE found Grade 1 company too hot for her at Fairyhouse last month when she was pulled up behind Jer's Girl. Prior to that she had finished second in a Grade 3 at Limerick and on that form she should prove extremely hard to beat. Danielle's Journey was well beaten at Cheltenham last time but had been an impressive winner at Ayr in February and this drop in grade will suit. Mardale has to give weight all round but she has earned the extra weight with some impressive wins this season.

A very tricky contest and the marginal preference goes to LORD LANDEN, who bids to take advantage of a 5lb lower hurdles rating compared his mark over fences. The 11-year-old was a narrow winner over the larger obstacles at Cheltenham in December and he has run well enough in two starts since. BERTIE MILAN won this race two years ago from a 1lb lower mark and he was successful over 3m here on his last start in September. The 11-year-old has a featherweight in this contest and that has to be a big positive over this marathon trip. The penalised Nakadam had the veteran Harry The Viking back in third when he won at Kelso a couple of weeks ago and the youngster should confirm that form despite a 5lb swing in the weights. Double Whammy was hugely impressive at Wetherby at the start of the month and is another who is worthy of consideration.

The handicapper appeared to have caught up with Maraweh when he was well beaten at Musselburgh back in January. The six-year-old is still open to improvement but he will need to find some improvement to be successful today. IORA GLAS has dropped to a mark off which he should be capable of making his presence felt, especially in a weak contest like this. The return to better ground should suit this son of Court Cave and he could go off at a decent price. Andhaar is another who can go well, while Sybarite won this two years ago but is not one to be relying upon. Top weight Seldom Inn struggled in the heavy ground last time and should prefer this quicker surface.

A highly interesting race with plenty of exciting youngsters. Imperial Eloquence sets the standard based on his debut win last month at Hexham and the four-year-old is entitled to take a step forward with that experience under his belt. That said, the Malcom Jefferson yard is in fine form at the moment and MR MONOCHROME is half-brother to yard's Attaglance, as well as the former bumper winner Hi George. Glingerside, Late Date, River Dun and Tyrrell's Succes are also worth considering.
