THIS IS ELIZA made a promising start to her racing career when runner-up over four and a half furlongs at Charles Town some two weeks ago and, with improvement expected, she can go one better tonight. Much Love appears to be heading the right way and is most feared, while Queen Nefertiti looks next best.
It could pay to side with KYLA'S HARMONY in this. She has been knocking on the door recently and shaped as though stepping back up in trip would help when runner-up over 5f here last time. Te Atatu and Missnoma are others worthy of consideration.
OUR ROCKET MON produced his best effort yet when runner-up over this trip at Philadelphia last time and, with an easier assignment ahead of him tonight, he could take all the beating. Plymouth Square and Left Foot Slewie are most feared.
CHAMPAGNE RHYTHM showed a likeable attitude when striking over track and trip latest and she will prove difficult to beat if in the same mood tonight. Two Point Maker was only a neck behind the selection that day and should be hot on her hooves again, while Miss Forest is respected after her comfortable win at Philadelphia late last month.
Michael Pappada has yet to get a real tune out of RADIOHEAD but the gelding's most recent effort at this venue was full of promise and the decision to drop him back to 5f could prove a profitable one. Rexdale Warrior looks the fighting sort and shouldn't be discounted, along with Flavor.
MAXWELL COAST justified odds-on favouritism at Woodbine in July when shedding his maiden tag and commands respect now stepping into claiming company. His lightning turn of foot can be used to good affect again here but keep an eye on Couldbeaghostrider and Goose.
The consistent Khabibulin commands respect in this claimer, although some would argue that his lack of winning form is a slight concern. as a result, BIGSTORMRISING gets the nod. The colt takes a step up in class here, having shed his maiden status last time, but he should be capable of continuing on an upward curve. S W Aidan the best of the rest.
WHATTHECATDRUGIN takes a notable drop in class here and a return to his best form should see him win this comfortably. Pahinui is most certainly a horse on an upward curve, having benefitted from being ridden prominently last time, while Little Pep is another to be wary of.
