GLENMUIR has some decent form in the book, winning over 5f at Kempton on his debut. He can regain the winning thread here, possibly at the chief expense of Zato, who was a deserved winner over 5f at Brighton last time. Aboyne and Getbuzzin can also get involved at the finish.
Yorkshire Lad makes plenty of appeal from an each-way perspective, and his forcing tactics could see him run into a place at least. Blades Boy is running well and will not be far away, but the vote goes to KARASHINO. Successful over 6f at Thirsk last month, she was a beaten favourite at Ripon last time, but she did not enjoy a trouble free passage that day and is worth another chance here.
This will take some getting but one sure to mount a decent challenge is Golden Odyssey. YOU TOO is a nice filly in the making and if stepping up on her most recent run at Hamilton, she can open her account at the third time of asking. Discomania was staying on well in a race over C&D last time and is certainly one for the short-list.
Twin Peaks was friendless in the market when making his debut over 7f at Wolverhampton back in January, but it did not stop him winning and he will not lack support here. Hadrian should appreciate further than a mile in time, but he will not be far away here. DAVENPORT is in scintillating form at the moment, landing successive races over a mile, scoring over C&D last month. Up another 7lb here, he can take it in his stride.
SONNTAG BLUE has done most of his racing on the all-weather, landing a seller over 1m1f at Wolverhampton back in December. Unplaced in three outings on turf, he can change that this afternoon and will be a popular choice. Lauren Louise, Polesworth, Laurollie and Mytton's Dream all have claims on various form lines.
Distant Country is currently in a fine run of form and with Ian Mongan in the plate, he will be there or thereabouts at the finish. BAILIEBOROUGH has scored six times in his career to date between 6f and 1m1f. Suited by a quick surface, he certainly has the ability to plunder this decent finale. Chapter appeals at long odds for an each-way investment.
