Beaten 3 1/4l in a novice over 7f at Yarmouth on his only start back in June 2023. A big, attractive colt and good-moving middle-distance type, though absent for a very lengthy period.
Half-brother to Omotesando, won three times between 1m 1f and 2m. Finished 3 1/2l behind Lightning Leo when sixth of 11 at 16-5 on his racecourse debut at Yarmouth over 7f (good to firm) in June '23.

MUKHTALIF will not find a better opportunity than this. William Haggas' charge shouldn't be inconvenienced by a switch to the all-weather given his half-brother was a winner on Polytrack and is expected to take all the beating. Pride Of Donegal has something to find on official ratings but looks the main threat despite an absence, while market support for Royal Army, who hasn't been seen since June 2023, must be taken seriously.
Royal Army made a bright start in a classy novice back in June on his only start making a bit of late headway over 7f. He was behind some useful sorts and this good moving middle-distance type should make into a useful sort himself. The step up to 1m2f should suit and if coping with the softer conditions can make his presence felt. However, MUKHTALIF sets a high standard here and given he's still open to improvement should have enough to repel Saaed Bin Suroor's gelding being already proven in the ground and at the trip. Pride Of Donegal, making his turf debut, needs to build on his first three AW runs but has been competitive each time and should appreciate the step up in trip. Charlie Johnston's colt can fight it out for honours of some kind

Rubellite took the measure of Bunker Bay (second) over C&D latest and while the pair could be closer on revised terms, it is FLEUR DE MER that shades preference. Martin Todhunter's mare was almost able to exploit a sliding handicap mark when beaten a neck here a fortnight ago and if building on that, she ought to go very close.
PERCY WILLIS has won three times over CD and is taken to add to that tally. Jedd O'Keeffe's 7yo made an encouraging return to action this month over an inadquate 1m2f after a layoff since March when something was amiss (bled) and is now 3lb lower than his last winning mark. He loves it here and can retunr to near peak form back over 1m4f. Fleur De Mer has found her level again of late, going down by a neck over CD last time and seems to reserve best for this CD. She should again be involved in the finish and looks the biggest danger. Rubellite is another to go well here and is an impeccable two from two over CD and arrives on the back of a win at Wolverhampton last time. She'll need a career best off this revised mark but she could find a little yet and should prove a real threat

UNIVERSAL STORY made a promising start for Jennie Candlish when keeping on into fourth over 1m6f at Catterick recently and a further step up in trip could be the making of her. Stand Strong failed to see out 2m2f at Musselburgh latest but the previous C&D winner merits respect back here, while Girl Of Gold appeals most of the remainder.
Stand Strong should prove popular having won over CD in August, two runs back, and should challenge strongly for a second career win but GIRL OF GOLD, although of limited ability judged on five efforts on the Flat has hinted at better to come having got the hang of things the last twice amnd looks well suited to staying events. She can take a step forward and has decent claims in a weak affair. Universal Story stepped up on two modest handicap runs when tackling 1m6f, up from 1m2f twice prior, finishing well but left with too much to do but beaten under two lengths. There's every chance the step up again to this 2m will suit and she's entitled to be involved in the shake-up if seeing it out

The Andrew Balding horses invariably learn plenty from their first run, which makes the winning debut of TIGER POWER all the more impressive. He only won by a length at Haydock but had plenty left in the tank and could go in again in this field. Malachy's Wish stayed on strongly to win at Ffos Las, but that was on heavy ground and he may not be the same on this surface, so the well-bred newcomer Menwirr might be the bigger danger here.
TIGER POWER made a big impression on his winning debut, pricking his ears at the line having taken control late before coming away smoothly. Andrew Balding's colt looks highly talented is strongly fancied to keep up the winning habit despite the 7lb penalty. Malachy's Wish, the other with a penalty to defy, improved considerably from debut stepped up from 6f to 7f last time when opening his account and should laydown another determined challenge. None of the others with experience bring much to the party and so one of the newcomers at least is likely to get involved. Of those, the one that makes most appeal is Power For Power, a nicely bred colt hailing from Roger Varian's yard

KAMEEL has a good record here with two wins from three starts, both over this distance, and although well beaten at Southwell last month, he clearly struggles to see out a mile. Off 2lb lower, Jessica Macey's gelding may surprise off his current mark. Miakoda can also go well after his Brighton win was followed by a fourth at Catterick, leaving Thirsk third Call Me Betty to fill the same spot.
It's a tight call between CALL ME BETTY, placed the last twice in handicap company and a relatively unexposed winner on Tapeta, and Miakoda, winner of two of his last four runs and a CD winner when last seen on the AW in March. Both have conditions in their favour but the filly is just preferred given her scope for improvement after just six runs. Happy To Fly has got fairly competitive without really threatening in four handicap runs since opening her account over CD on second start but can raise her game back over what appears optimum conditions, especially given a further 2lb drop by the assessor

Ring Of Gold was value for more than a neck when winning over C&D last time, despite failing to get a clear run until the final furlong, and an added 2lb from the handicapper may not stop him from going close. OSELTON bolted in by four lengths at Southwell but was not winning out of turn and although upped 9lb for that, he looks the sort to keep on improving now the penny has dropped, with Coramento the pick for the minor placing.
OSELTON has been mostly labouring this year, way off the promise shown early in his career, but stormed to a first success earlier this month landing a handicap by 4l and going away. It seems clear 7f on a Tapeta surface suits best and, although taking a big hit from the assessor with a nine pound rise, if in simialr mood should be tough to beat now some of that potential has been unlocked. Coramento is thriving and is a huge threat on raw form at a track he goes well at with his sole win coming here, along with a couple of placed efforts, all over a mile. The drop back to 7f raises a doubt but he should still give a good account. Bothy Park is interesting back at 7f for just the second time having often looked a bit tapped for toe at 5f-6f. Her first try over 7f didn't go well but she was poorly drawn and never really had a chance. Having shown much more last time here over 6f she could reward each way players at likely decent odds

A C&D winner off 4lb lower in March, URBAN DANDY has been consistent in a light campaign since and is entitled to have come on from the run after resuming over an inadequate 6f at Southwell three weeks ago. That was his first run since April and stepping back up to a mile should ideally suit the Tony Coyle & Kaine Wood-trained five-year-old. Lingfield winner Parish Councillor rates a player off 3lb higher with a visor added. Coloane and Electric Avenue are the pick of the rest.
All six of PARISH COUNCILLOR's runs this year have been pretty solid and he gained a deserved second career success last time dropped back to a mile, which suits best, having gone well over 1m2f and 1m4f prior. He's found his level again and has rated a fair bit higher in the past and should give another good account over a CD his only other win has come over. Electric Avenue bounced back to something like her best last time over CD when fourth of 14 and is now 2lb lower than both her most recent wins, the former over CD. She can play a big role. Coloane has hit form of late and a repeat of her win at Southwell earlier this month over a mile, before not finding much back up to 1m2f here last time, would see her challenging for top honours. Pop Favorite, a Newcastle specialist is very hit or miss, even here, but is capable of springing a surprise with a return to form from out of the blue

Having won three times over C&D win since January, 2025 has been a renaissance period for ASADJUMEIRAH and he has a good chance of adding to tally. Drawn two stalls along from the pacey Carolus Magnus, there is good reason to expect this will be run at good clip, which should ideally suit his hold-up style of running. Lady Bouquet and Ticktyboo have each-way claims, while Opal Storm is another to monitor in the betting on her all-weather debut.
ASADJUMEIRAH was not seen to best effect seeking a CD double last time but sat too far off a steady pace and is better judged on his win here prior. When finding his form he's generally pretty consistent and can add a sixth CD win to the CV. Fletchers Dream is frustratingly inconsistent but is very capable in this grade and showed a lot more last time after a spell in the doldrums since springing a shock earlier this summer (50/ 1 winner at Musselburgh, 7f on fast ground). Two of three of his wins have come over CD and now dropped back to his optimum stiff trip he can show his best. If able to dictate he's especially dangerous. Lady Bouquet can be excused a modest effort last time (hit the gate leaving the stalls) but had put in three consecutive decent efforts, including a win and narrow second, prior to that blip. She's won on Tapeta and although yet to win over 6f she just about stays and in a race where nothing arrives in sensational form could go close
