There is some strong form on offer here with both Dubai's Touch and Dijeerr having proven themselves in Group company already. Both of those have solid claims but a chance is taken with Sir Michael Stoute's once-raced MYTHICAL KID. The selection was impressive on his debut over C&D and also proved his liking for today's soft ground conditions. It's unlikely he's reached the peak of his powers just yet.

Foxhaven was far from disgraced in this grade last time and is worth considering for each-way purposes. However he may lack the class to win a race of this quality and DRAGON DANCER is preferred. Geoff Wragg's charge is still a maiden after seven starts but has by far the best form on offer, including a short-head defeat by Sir Percy in the Derby in June. This looks his easiest assignment for some time and he can get the better of Munsef and the others.
A decent-looking renewal of one of the top juvenile contests of the year and Aidan O'Brien is take to add to his already impressive record in the race with EAGLE MOUNTAIN. The colt heads a four-strong Ballydoyle challenge and can build on an impressive performance to land the Group 2 Beresford Stakes at The Curragh last time. Medicine Path and Regime both have plenty of ability and the latter, in particular, is held in high regard and looks next best.
Barry Hills has taken four of the last eight renewals of this event and his C&D maiden winner Hollow Ridge shouldn't be far away. However, a more impressive debut display was put up by RANSOM CAPTIVE and Michael Magnusson's representative is take to add some black type to her portfolio. Backed as if defeat was out of the question on her introduction, that experience will still have had its benefits and she can come home ahead of Lady Alize.
A 3lb rise in the weights may be enough to stop Celtic Step, who only scraped home at Catterick last time. But an easy surface seemed to bring about marked improvement in BREEZEWAY last time and Brian Meehan's filly again has conditions to suit with the step up to a mile likely to bring about further improvement. Frankie Dettori's booking is another positive. Newcastle debut winner Magic Echo has a bit of scope and could prove the pick of the remainder.
Three year-olds have a decent record in this but their challenge this time around looks relatively weak, with Godolphin second-string Austrian possibly the best of the younger generation. GENTLEMAN'S DEAL is only a tentative suggestion in a wide-open affair but Mick Easterby's lightly-raced five-year-old has been shaping with some promise lately and remains on the same mark as when a running-on fifth at York last time. Impeller is another to consider now back in the handicap ranks.
GREAT VIEW has a fine record in these amateur riders' events and today's lady pilot has already guided him to two successes this term. With two course victories also to his name and plenty of form with cut in the ground, everything looks in place for a big run off this mark. The accomplished Serena Brotherton has been booked for back-to-form Acknowledgement, who also has claims along with Kylkenny and Champagne Shadow.
