Just the three runners for this five-furlong maiden, and with all of them having their second start there is every chance that Moretons will head the market after going under by a length when third at Yarmouth last month. Sent off favourite that day, he will be out to make amends, yet MEELAF may be the better value. Sixth in a better race at Newmarket on her only start after weakening late on, she gets 5lb from the colts which might prove decisive. Kodigara needs to find plenty and may be booked for third.
This looks to be between Moretons and MEELAF, with the latter taken to build on his sixth in a class 2 last time. He is with a top two year old handler and is open to plenty of improvement. Moretons should also come on for his debut and is unlikely to be far away at all. Kodigara looks up against it today.

Protest Rally is due to go down a pound for future contests but the five-year-old likes it here with two wins and two seconds from four starts, though a place may be the best he can hope for. CURIOUS ROVER may have the edge after his length second in a better race here after five months off, and any improvement would make him hard to beat with a low draw hopefully advantageous. Arnhem is also of interest back on the turf, where he races off 8lb lower than his current all-weather mark.
A few of these are dropping in class, and the one that is of most interest is CURIOUS ROVER, who was finishing well last time and can score here. He would appear to hold One Night Stand with a formline through Spartan Arrow, and that one may challenge for the places. However, the one likely to cause the most trouble to the selection looks to be Wen Moon, who has been running well enough in higher class races than this. If he can come on from his reappearance, he ought to be close down 1lb. That same comment goes for Abduction, who is selected to fill the frame.

REEL HER IN looks the likeliest winner here as the only C&D winer in the line-up, having won here in October last year off 1lb lower and following up over further off this mark. She should be spot-on after her third over further at Pontefract in April. Pigeon House is another with plenty of stamina and he could also go well if possessing the speed for this trip, leaving Trojan Sun as a tentative suggestion for the minor placing.
PIGEON HOUSE has won twice over obstacles, but has not got his head in front yet on the flat. This looks like a good opportunity to get that first win, with the trip likely to suit and he comes here after a couple of encouraging runs. If you forgive Trojan Run his penultimate start, he is one to consider with some improvement likely to come after last time. C&D winner Reel Her In looks another likely contender back down to this trip and selected to make up the first three.

Having capitalised on a lower mark on the switch to turf at Redcar 11 days ago, Tickets must enter the reckoning in his current mood. However, a 5lb penalty and quick turnaround does demand more from Ben Haslam's inmate and DOOMSDAY is slightly more compelling. The six-year-old wasn't disgraced when finishing fifth in a 14-runner affair at Catterick last month and this contest looks ripe for the taking. Fellow in-form rival Keep Me Stable completes the shortlist.
A case can be made for a few of these, with TICKETS the one to focus most closely on. He is pretty consistent and looked to have some in hand when winning last time. 7f shouldn't be a problem and he can continue to remain in good form. Doomsday is a danger to the selection as he seems to enjoy it here and is down 3lbs. Keep Me Stable and Purple Martini ought to be fighting it out for a place, with the former just selected to hit the frame. Ignac Lamar isn't out of it either.

The combination of a wind procedure and 211-day break proved just the trick for recent Catterick scorer CAPITAL GUARANTEE and he looks a step ahead of the handicapper. A 5lb penalty is unlikely to be the ceiling of the five-year-old's ability and a quickfire double may beckon. The biggest threat may emerge from unpenalised Ayr winner Ramon Di Loria, who will need to settle better over today's extra furlong. Code Purple is the pick of the remainder.
CAPITAL GUARANTEE can make it back to back wins today. He looked to have some in hand last time and can cope with a penalty today. Code Purple seems to love it here, having never been worse than second in seven visits here. He looks the one to chase the selection home and can lead in Jenni, who is back on her last winning mark. TWO B TANNED arrives here on the back of two impressive wins at Beverley in recent weeks and the four-year-old is very hard to oppose, despite being 9lb higher than when last successful. Jumeira Vision showed promise when fifth at Newcastle last time and could prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Scarriff should not be discounted on her return.
It is quite hard to oppose TWO B TANNED in this fairly weak affair. A 5lb penalty looks manageable and a hat-trick is on the cards. Jumeira Vision is a C&D winner and can get closest to the selection. Yorkshire Glory is reasonably unexposed and can battle for a place along with Scarriff, who needs to be ready to go after some time away from the track. The latter is just preferred.
