Kavanagh doesn't have the greatest draw in stall 1 as low numbers have looked at a disadvantage down the straight course but he shaped very well when second to Mental last time and that form sets the standard. He does at least have some pace around him and he can get the better of Tamaathul, who should be more at home back on turf, and Seachantach, an impressive winner last time.
No obvious front runner in this which could play against Free Wheeling if similar tactics are employed to last time, but he did shape very well when third to Rerouted and he is taken to come out on top here. Red Duke was another to catch the eye last time and could have more to offer for this yard whilst Rerouted can never be ruled out.
This looks wide open. Several reoppose from a race won by Star Empire last time whilst the classy trio of Jakkalberry, Saddler's Rock and Royal Diamond are all reappearing. It wouldn't be a surprise if any of those 3 were to win but it could be worth risking Tenenbaum who is unexposed as a stayer and Godolphin have done very well with similar types. Ahzeemah and Certerach head the dangers.
Con Artist is likely to be popular after his easy win last week but he was able to dictate then and will do well to pull off the same tactics from stall 12. He is worth taking on with Jawhar who only just held on last time from Dr Faustus but he travelled as though well ahead of his mark and has more to offer. Layali Al Andalus isn't one to give up on just yet and is feared.
Musir is backing up rather quickly after his reappearance but he did shape well last week when fourth to Mushreq and should be too good for these. Trade Storm was most impressive when winning in handicap company last time and looks the main danger with Fulbright, who is another to consider despite having to give weight away all round.
Royal Empire stands out an absolute mile in this and it looks the perfect opportunity for him to regain the winning thread after some excellent efforts in defeat behind Kassiano and Mushreq. Jutland is proving consistent and should give his running again whilst Quick Wit is expected to show more now stepping back up to a trip he won over here last year.
