Saint Helena is one to monitor in the market, despite a moderate showing last time, as she was sent off favourite off this mark three runs ago at Worcester. Seaside Shuffle has claims if none the worse for his fall at Leicester and also enters calculations, though preferred ahead of both is KING'S ROAD, who represents last year's winning trainer and is refitted with a tongue-tie - which was worn when winning over C&D in July but omitted on his last run.

Watch out for: Saint Helena (5)

Plenty of these arrive out of sorts or with something to prove, and it could be worth taking a chance that the switch to the Tim Vaughan will spark a revival in Akula. Saint Helena and Seaside Shuffle both hold solid form claims in this company, but they will have no answers if Akula is back to something like his best.

MASTERFUL ACT has developed into one of the strongest Fibresand performers on the all-weather for Alan McCabe and is interesting now debuting for Dan Skelton and sent back over timber. His last few hurdles efforts leave a little to be desired but he's entitled to improve for the fitting of a first-time tongue-tie and makes appeal on his earlier efforts. Mister Jones bounced back to form with a solid effort over 2m3f at Catterick and has place claims along with It's Oscar and Summertime Lady.

The main danger appears to be Chill Factor, who saw his winning sequence halted at Cheltenham last time but is entitled to improve for this drop in grade. Withoutdefavourite pulled-up at Bangor when last sighted but is interesting now fitted with first-time cheekpieces.
