FULL OF LIGHT arrives on stable debut after landing the spoils on his sole start under Rules and Nicky Henderson's new recruit is taken to relish the switch to timber. The five-year-old gets the nod, while Bricklagger could prove stern opposition if building on his first start over hurdles. Clear The Runway showed plenty of encouraging signs at Kelso and he's another to consider.

FULL OF LIGHT has been picked up by Nicky Henderson since landing an Irish bumper and this won't take much winning, so he's a fairly straightforward selection. Clear The Runway made a pleasing start under Rules recently, so he's likeliest to capitalise if the favourite disappoints, although Annual Review isn't without a chance on hurdling bow.

SINNDARELLA has been knocking on the door and this looks like the perfect opportunity to get off the mark at the seventh time of asking over obstacles. If the five-year-old mare fails to fire, Sporting Scopey may be able to pick up the pieces on her hurdling bow after showing encouraging signs when fourth last time out in a Ludlow bumper. Easterly can follow them home.

This could be the day that things finally click for EDINBURGH CASTLE, who has not been outside the first three in five starts over hurdles. Denied by subsequent winners at both Stratford and Southwell on his last two outings over timber, Richie McLernon's mount could still have leeway off a mark of 108 on just his second start in a handicap. Recent Sedgefield winner Lucky Robin can give him most to think about, while Kensington Art remains unexposed over the smaller obstacles and is no forlorn hope either.

GOLDENCARD could easily have been coming into this on a hat-trick after an agonising defeat at Fontwell last month. A comfortable winner at Uttoxeter on his previous start, this track should hold no fears for Christian Williams' charge, while Daniel Ellis' 7lb claim can only help. Gouet Des Bruyeres has yet to prove himself over this distance but the booking of top amateur James King takes the eye as he looks to follow up a recent Worcester success. Kilbrew Boy must be respected as well having won a similar contest to this at Wincanton last December.

It is difficult to look past the thriving BALLYMILAN in this line-up having won two of her last three in this sphere with plenty of authority. Raised 6lb for her most recent victory at Worcester, where she would have won by further but for a stumble at the third last, the daughter of Milan can keep up the good work. The step up to this trip could suit Imphal, who ran well off this mark at Chepstow in March, while Tip Top Cat completes the shortlist.
