Berkshire Breeze (second) appeared to have been found the ideal opportunity to shed the maiden tag at Southwell earlier this month when beaten by the reopposing Now Then Wendy. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him reverse the form with Hughie Morrison's mare, but the vote goes to POLEMON. Having run in a couple of bumpers, including at Cheltenham on New Year's Day, the four-year-old was fourth on his Flat debut at Chelmsford, one place behind Casa Luna, and the step up in trip is likely to bring about further improvement.
