LOST TWO STARS caught the eye when staying on well in the closing stages at Wincanton and this half-sister to Herecomesthetruth is expected to mount a bold bid on her seasonal debut. Dark Ruby was flattered by her debut second in an eventful race at Fontwell when the favourite crashed through the rail but she should benefit from the experience of that opening effort. The same comment applies to Absolution, capable of improvement on her second run for Henrietta Knight.
Dakota Hues and Gdynia Baba could prove the pick of the newcomers, but Lost Two Stars didn't shape too badly on her debut in March and may be able to put that experience to good use on her belated return.

Dancing Welcome rates better than the bare form of her Kempton seventh recently as she experienced a troublesome passage. Nevertheless, she must produce a career best to win off this mark and it may pay to take him on with RESPLENDENT ALPHA. Visored for the first time and making his debut for a new yard, the streetwise gelding is well treated on his best form and goes well at this track. Radiator Rooney is hard to predict but will pop up again at some point.
Very few arrive in any sort of form, with Chinese Democracy and Dancing Welcome obvious exceptions. That pair should go well, but Resplendent Alpha has become potentially very well treated and could make a winning start for his new yard.

Orchard Supreme and Traphalgar are both more than capable of making their presence felt in this grade but both are seen to best effect when produced off a fast gallop. With no such guarantee here, SOVEREIGNTY is the selection. Dean Ivory's gelding has work to do with the aforementioned pair at the weights but is likely to be well placed if the race becomes tactical. Although the selection has stamina to prove over the trip, a slowly run race can ensure he gets home in front.
Traphalgar proved too much of a handful for his apprentice rider here last time but he has George Baker back on now and should go well. Whether he can deal with Orchard Supreme remains to be seen, though, given that one still looked to be in form when making good headway up the far rail here earlier in the week.

Billy Red's new found tactical versatility should stand him in good stead and the form of his recent second to Piscean has been boosted by the winner subsequently. The likeable gelding has no place to hide from the handicapper though and others appear better treated. Cardinal has discovered the knack of winning this year but may be denied a fourth win for the season in this higher grade. SIOUX RISING responded well to headgear last time out and can gain compensation for a short head defeat here last weekend.
Impressive Wolverhampton winner Cardinal will have his supporters again, but Secret Asset shapes as if his turn isn't far away and looks worth siding with. Sioux Rising was a narrow loser over C&D last week and could be on the premises again.

Money arrived for Chjimes last time but the gamble was foiled. He has plenty to prove now and ESPY looks the one they all have to beat. Beaten by less than a length on his latest outing, he goes well at this track and remains handicapped to be competitive. Loyal Royal is capable but often ruins his chances by pulling hard so Mary's Pet would emerge as a bigger danger if bouncing back to form after a couple of moderate efforts.
Loyal Royal and Dualagi are both in reasonable form, but they're a pair who need everything to fall right and, with the likelihood that this will be steadily run, Espy is preferred with Adam Kirby back on board.

BAYLINI performed commendably last time over a trip she would have found very much on the sharp side and, stepped back up to middle distances, she can go one better. Hidden Glory was a shock winner at Southwell but may struggle to follow up in this higher grade and a more likely danger appears to be the unexposed Pertuis. Harry Dunlop's gelding ran a solid race on his handicap debut at Kempton last time and further improvement should be forthcoming.
Baylini is always a bit of a hostage to fortune given how she's ridden, but she shaped well over 1m here on Tuesday and a return to the trip she's gained her last 4 wins over can see her come out on top. Hidden Glory and Distinctive Image could do best of the rest.
