The Stan Moore team are double-handed with Kidmeforever and Itsindebag, both similar sorts that could feasibly get involved in a modest nursery. However, both are pretty exposed and remain vulnerable to a potential improver such as WHITE VIN JAN. She's open to further progress and makes her handicap debut off a lowly mark, whilst the promising Kieran Shoemark claims a valuable 7lb and the yard have returned to form in recent weeks. Lady Zodiac also looks capable of making her mark in this sort of company after a decent second in a Nottingham nursery.

Jeremy Noseda's string look to be hitting form again and could be worth keeping onside for the remainder of the season. The yard field two here, with Anna's Vision clearly first choice after good efforts in ordinary maiden company. Virile and Artistic Queen are newcomers requiring a market check whilst Pearl Bell returns from an absence of 750 days after displaying promising juvenile form in 2012 for Brian Meehan. It's interesting to see her persevered with, but GOODWOOD STORM has gone well in a couple of handicaps this term and gets the vote as she was only denied in the last stride here on turf last time.

The selection quickened away nicely that day and, clearly in good heart, can follow up here. Richard Hannon's Miss Brazil finally got her head in front at Yarmouth last time and has generally been in good form this term. She rates a major threat. Jeremy Gask has a couple of chances, of which Dominium, a solid second to Panther Patrol latest, makes most appeal.

A few of these may improve for the move into handicap company tonight, such as Rapunzal, Marmande and SWEET LILY PEA. The latter has yet to finish in the frame but has shown one or two glimmers of form in maiden company (and one handicap outing) to suggest she's capable of being competitive in such a modest affair, especially with Tim Clark taking a useful 5lb off her back. Copper Cavalier hasn't been seen since landing a Wolverhampton handicap in the winter and although his yard is going well, Libra Romana, second here last time, looks the most likely threat.

The fact that Frankie Dettori is due to come here to partner Bnedel is a tip in itself and the 85,000gns purchase is an obvious contender. This is a tough test for juveniles at this stage of the campaign but both Sharp Sailor and the expensively-bought DEERFIELD shaped as if this additional furlong would benefit on their respective debuts. It took quite some time for the penny to drop for the latter at Newmarket last month but he was going on nicely enough at the business end and could come on plenty for the run. Overlord showed little on debut but should do better.

Masterpaver is returned to the fray quickly after a decisive Kempton success under Adam Kirby on Wednesday evening and there's every reason to expect a strong follow-up attempt. Secure Cloud is another recent winner quickly returning to action and has to be respected, but preference is for C&D winner LEADERENE, a filly that remains open to progress after just seven starts. While she finished tailed-off at Thirsk last time, after recording comfortable Yarmouth and Lingfield successes previously, she's quickly returned to action so nothing can have been too amiss.

Secure Cloud had plenty up his sleeve when opening his account over C&D recently and should go well again, despite a hefty rise up the weights, but Anjin is bred to relish this stiffer test and is taken to enhance Sir Mark Prescott's good record in this type of contest with horses of similar ilk.
