With cut in the ground forecast, it could pay to side with MOHANAD in the opener. Sheena West's in-form representative landed a C&D event with plenty to spare last time out (6lb higher now) and has produced plenty of promising performances on rain-softened ground. If conditions dry out, the one to beat would be Lastroseofsummer, on a four-timer after three wins (two Flat, one hurdles) on fast ground. Morar can lead the rest home.
Morar was right back to her best when runner-up at Sandown last month and is taken to confirm her superiority over Mohanad, who was behind her that day. The hat-trick seeking Lastroseofsummer also commands respect.

Two recent bronze medals at Windsor suggest Green Wadi is sure to be in the thick of the action again but preference is for HIGHLIFE DANCER, who found one too good when bidding for a hat-trick off this mark at Bath last time out. Both his wins last month came at this venue on turf and the improving three-year-old can make the most of a return to his favourite track. With Hindsight is coming down the weights and is dangerous to rule out.
Highlife Dancer caught a tartar when bidding to complete a hat-trick at Bath recently and is taken to resume winning ways here, probably at the expense of the frustrating Green Wadi.

This looks a match between COUNTRY ROAD and Cartlon Scroop. The latter didn't appreciate the drop in trip when only managing third in this grade over C&D latest when bidding for a hat-trick and of slightly more appeal is Tony Carroll's charge, who landed a C&D seller last month. That was only his second outing after a lengthy layoff and he is entitled to improve again. Special Endeavour rates best of the remainder.
This is likely to develop into a match between Carlton Scroop and Country Road. The latter was the victor when the pair met at the back-end of last year, but Carlton Scroop in more straightforward and can come out on top this time.

After a facile Brighton success over 1m4f last month, SENNOCKIAN STORM was too bad to be true when allowed to race off the same mark eight days later at Leicester. Despite being rated 6lb higher now, he will be hard to beat if recapturing the form of his success on the south coast. Should Mark Johnston's charge fail to deliver again, Zelos Diktator will be ready to capitalise off a feasible mark as he returns to the Flat after a spell over hurdles. Royal Defence, who is edging back to a fair rating, is worth a second look.
It would be no surprise were Sennockian Storm to bounce back, but Jovial could be working his way back again this year, and can prove this mark isn't beyond him. Green Future is one of a trio of 3-y-os who could have more to offer.

Jeremy Gask has his string in good order at present so it would be no surprise to see his Milk It Mick colt, Tayla's Storm, go well first time out, but the safer option appears to be the more experienced CITYBELL. The Richard Fahey-trained filly showed plenty of natural speed when fourth in a 5f maiden at Thirsk on debut and is entitled to have learnt a great deal from that experience. Key Addition has obvious claims after being touched off by the shortest of margins over 6f at Bath but, closely related to 7f-1m1f winner Retirement, this drop back to the minimum trip isn't forced to suit.
Arctic Stryker makes most appeal of the newcomers, but Royal Award, Citybell and Key Addition have already shown they are up to winning a small maiden, and are preferred in that order.

Today could be his day, although Noverton has shown ability in three outings and Brinmore warrants respect judged on her second effort at Goodwood in June.
This looks a good chance for Kawssaj to get off the mark, though Noverton will ensure he doesn't have it all his own way, and the newcomer Cookieshake is also a likely sort on paper.
