WAAHEJ showed a likeable attitude when landing the spoils over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton last week and, despite being burdened with a 6lb penalty, he can follow up. Night Knight landed a selling contest in similar determined fashion at Yarmouth latest and is unlikely to go down without fighting on his all-weather debut, while Hold The Bucks is another with claims on his best form.
There are stamina doubts against a few of these, while others have to prove their well-being, so it mat pay to side with Transformer, who has been consistent in the main and might be helped by the fitting of cheekpieces. Night Knight would be a danger if on a 'going' day, while Join Up could go well from out of the handicap proper.

It could pay to side with ROSCO FLYER in a moderate-looking affair. He stayed on in determined fashion to snatch second over 1m at Kempton last time suggesting that this step up in trip will suit. Primo Dilettante produced a career-best performance at this venue on his penultimate outing and rates the biggest threat, while Quinsman is another that cannot be left out of calculations.
Trainer Jim Boyle had a double at Kempton on Wednesday night, and he could also be on the mark here with Rosco Flyer, who came home well when runner-up last week. Quinsman seemed suited by the step up to this trip last time and looks the chief danger. Primo Dilettante may be best of the rest.

Michael Bell's pair, MADAME ROULIN and Sharp And Chic, are very interesting here considering those with previous experience have shown little. The betting market is sure to prove the best guide as to which is expected, but slight preference is for the former who cost 17,000gns as a yearling and looks the stable pick on jockey bookings. Charpoy Cobra is most appealing of those with experienced.
Charpoy Cobra and Folletta hardly set a daunting standard on what they have shown thus far, but the former remains capable of better and should give backers a good run for their money. Any significant support for the newcomers would have to be taken seriously, the pick looking to be Madame Roulin.

Not the strongest of contests and EQUIPE DE NUIT gets the tentative vote. He won effortlessly at this level on his penultimate outing and can be forgiven a lacklustre performance in slightly better company at Warwick on Tuesday. King's Sabre found the selection 6-lengths too good on his latest start and may have to settle for a minor role once again, leaving Capo Regime as the biggest threat.
Equipe De Nuit made mincemeat of a few of these rivals when dropped to this grade at Leicester last month and can go well again, but Irish raider Rudolph Schmidt is able to boast form on a different level and should be good enough to get the job done. Vamos may fare best of the rest.

Pirate's Song appears to be improving with race experience and should have his say in the finish here, but they will all have to go some to beat NOBLE GREEK. The petrol gauge appeared to hit red late on when runner-up in a much better race over 6f at York last time and this drop in trip can only help his cause. Key Art is another that cannot be ruled out with any confidence.
Noble Greek has done more than enough to win an ordinary maiden and shouldn't be inconvenienced by the drop back to the minimum trip. Art Summer and I'malwaysright could prove the safest options for placepotters.

LARGEM stepped up on three moderate maiden performances to score decisively on his handicap debut over a similar trip at Wolverhampton three weeks ago and, despite a 6lb rise in the handicap, he could take some stopping in his bid to follow up. Jachol has been knocking on the door recently and seems sure to be in the thick of the action once again, while recent Ffos Las winner, Arlene Phillips is another that warrants respect.
Largem had 3 of these rivals directly behind him when scoring at Wolverhampton recently, and he should be able to confirm the placings on worse terms with further improvement expected on only his fifth start. Runner-up that day Jachol is usually good for a place, while M'lady Rousseur could be overpriced with the longer trip expected to suit.
