Rated 111 over hurdles, MINERS BRIDGE looks nicely treated off a mark of 95. The Mahler eight-year-old has plenty of experience over the larger obstacles and won a point-to-point in his early days. He also has some solid hurdles form to his name and was successful at Killarney last summer. There was just three-quarters of a length between INTELLOTTO and Jigoro when they clashed over hurdles at Cork on Easter Sunday and, off level weights now, the Joseph O'Brien-trained former is taken to reverse the form. Returning from an eight-month absence at the Mallow venue, the Lope De Vega chestnut is an interesting recruit to fences. Beaten at 4/9 when starting off over the larger obstacles at Thurles in November, Jigoro is still sure to have plenty of supporters. Encanto Bruno should be able to make an impact in a contest like this.
