Cut The Mustard shaped well when second to Jetez here over Christmas and looks sure to be suited by the step up in trip along with a first-time hood. Court Maid has been in terrific form since going hurdling and has shown her adaptability by winning over a variety of distances. Sapphire Lady and Agusta Gold are others to consider, but SINORIA makes the most appeal. A half-sister to Minella Rocco, she built on her debut for Henry De Bromhead with a victory at Down Royal on Boxing Day and arguably has the most scope for improvement in the field.
SINORIA won in the manner of a useful prospect at Down Royal and could be a fair bit better than her opening mark suggests. Cut The Mustard and Court Maid arrive in good form, with Sassy Diva another likely to go well in this sort of scenario.

SIR EREC made a pleasing start to his hurdles career when getting the better of Tiger Tap Tap over C&D in December and that formline has the potential to work out better than the Grade 2, won by Rocky Blue, run the day before. The son of Camelot was a smart performer on the Flat, finishing third to star stayer Stradivarius at Ascot on Champions Day, and he can definitely improve for the experience gained from his debut in this sphere. The aforementioned Tiger Tap Tap is also open to the same kind of progression as the selection, while Surin and Gardens Of Babylon have been closely matched in two meetings over timber and similar is expected once again.
It could be worth keeping the faith with COEUR SUBLIME, who would have resumed winning ways but for crashing out late in a Grade 2 here over Christmas. He'll go on improving if none the worse after that. Sir Erec and Tiger Tap Tap, first and second in a good event at the same meeting, are big players, as are Surin and Gardens of Babylon, the score standing at 1-1 between them.

KLASSICAL DREAM built on the promise of his French form, which included a fourth in Grade 1 company at Auteuil behind Master Dino, with a fluent success in maiden company over C&D when ahead of the reopposing Entoucas (second) and Vision D'Honneur (fourth). The latter improved for that experience when beating Elixir D'Ainay at Punchestown three weeks ago, but Willie Mullins' gelding is taken to confirm the form from Boxing Day as he is more battle-hardened which could aid his cause on this occasion. Aramon won the Grade 1 over C&D at Christmas but this looks a stronger contest, while Valdieu made an impressive start to his hurdling career at Naas and can only benefit from that outing.
ARAMON is taken to follow up his Grade 1 success over C&D in December, where he showed a smart turn of foot to leave the others trailing in his wake after the last. Klassical Dream and Vision d'Honneur are a couple of very interesting dangers.

Cuneo landed a Pertemps Qualifier on his handicap debut over C&D in December and another rise in the weights would prove useful for Henry De Bromhead's gelding if he is to go for the final at Cheltenham. Pleasure Dome looks fairly handicapped on her two recent efforts behind Derrinross in Graded contests, despite not having won since August off a 12lb lower mark. Salty Boy and Dallas Des Picton are both in-form contenders with further progression likely, but the vote goes to the latter's stablemate, FLAWLESS ESCAPE. Third to Total Recall in this race last year, he has proven disappointing since returning a beaten favourite in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham and on his chase debut at Fairyhouse. However, a return to hurdles and a 64-day break might see him bounce back to the form he achieved in the early part of last season.
CUNEO still showed signs of his inexperience when taking a big-field handicap here over Christmas so it's highly likely there's more in the locker and he's taken to defy a rise in the weights. Fellow Gigginstown runner Dallas des Pictons is another lightly-raced hurdler who is open to further progress. Jimmy Breekie and Pleasure Dome are others to consider.

Delta Work has established himself as the leading novice chaser in Ireland over intermediate and staying distances and is unbeaten so far over fences, including two Grade One wins. However, preference is for Warren Greatrex's LA BAGUE AU ROI, who is another yet to taste defeat over the larger obstacles and could be hard to stop in receipt of the mares' allowance having lowered the colours of the best of the British stayers in the Feltham at Kempton on Boxing Day. Winter Escape keeps finding improvement and has to be given plenty of respect following three impressive chase victories this winter for Aidan Howard, while Hardline got the better of Getabird at Limerick in their Boxing Day Grade 1 feature and is far from a second string representing Gordon Elliott.
WINTER ESCAPE produced one of the best performances in novice chases on either side of the Irish Sea all season at Punchestown last month, and should take the step into Grade 1 company in his stride on that evidence. Delta Work and La Bague Au Roi are the obvious threats, though Hardline shouldn’t be ignored either after lowering the colours of the highly-regarded Getabird last time.

Monalee (second), Road To Respect (third) and Bellshill (fourth) were all within two lengths of each other when chasing home Kemboy in the Savills Chase, and the absence of the winner of this contest will give hope to the respective connections that it could be their turn to land the spoils. Road To Respect could be the best placed of that trio to secure the prize having had no luck in running at Christmas, when stumbling at a crucial moment, and it would be no surprise to see the 2017 winner regain his crown. However, AL BOUM PHOTO appears a top staying chaser in the making and the Grade 1 winner impressed on his Tramore reappearance, with the form of that race franked in the Thyestes recently. He looked set to place at both the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals last season and providing he eliminates the odd jumping clanger, he could prove hard to stop in this. Anibale Fly placed in both the Gold Cup and Grand National last season, but good ground may not be to his liking, while Edwulf flew home to take this last season and despite the 10-year-old struggling to hit the same high since, he has to be respected as the defending champion.
AL BOUM PHOTO won in the style of a top-class chaser on his Tramore reappearance last month and there remains an element of untapped potential about him, particularly over this sort of trip. He can land his biggest prize to date. Road To Respect did really well to make the frame (after suffering a few mishaps) here over Christmas and rates the chief danger, whist Bellshill is also of interest.

Speaker Connolly is sure to be popular following his C&D win over the Christmas period, but has more on his plate this time off an 11lb higher mark. Last Goodbye took this by nine lengths last year, but he has an 11lb higher rating to contend with this time and that gives the second on that occasion, VIEUX MORVAN, a chance to turn the tables, with Joseph O'Brien's veteran arriving in good form following a second-placed finish here over Christmas. Cadmium has to be given serious respect, back in handicap company for the first time since winning at the Punchestown Festival, and has been far from disgraced in Graded company since, while stablemate Livelovelaugh appears unexposed over fences. This trip should suit De Name Escapes Me a lot more than the three-mile test last time and he leads the JP McManus challenge, with Fitzhenry and Any Second Now also noted in the green and gold.
SPEAKER CONNOLLY left his previous form well behind when making a successful handicap bow over fences at this course last time, and with improvement on the cards, could well follow up here. Vieux Morvan, De Name Escapes Me and Cadmium complete the shortlist.

Rebel Og has questions to answer having disappointed at Punchestown in November, but the yard won this last season with a high-class mare and there is every chance she can bounce back to the form she showed when 17 lengths clear of the field at Downpatrick in August. Stablemate Botani is worthy of a market check on debut in a race the powerful yard are sure to saddle their leading females. Heaven Help Us and Jeremys Flame both got off the mark last time and are respected along with Santa Rossa, who scored comfortably at Fairyhouse on debut. However, preference is for TWO SHOE TOM, who is yet to score but placed in a Listed contest in November before going close over course and distance on Boxing Day in what was a hot-looking heat.
Despite being sent off long odds, there was no fluke about SANTA ROSSA's strong-travelling debut win at Fairyhouse and she is taken to remain unbeaten. Rebel Og is an obvious threat, while Bigandbeautiful probably needs further but can still make her presence felt.
