IMPERIAL ALCAZAR has looked a useful operator this season, as shown by his brave effort in Listed company at Cheltenham on New Year's Day. The form of his earlier Aintree success was given a timely boost with the second winning recently and it is also hard to fault his second at Newcastle in a competitive renewal of The French Furze. Fugitives Drift did well to finish third in what is typically a hot bumper at Newbury last March and is an interesting recruit to hurdles, while point-to-point scorer Muckamore could figure making his first appearance for Nigel Twiston-Davies.
IMPERIAL ALCAZAR brings some useful form to the table and has to be the percentage call, although Nicky Henderson's Fugitives Drift did shape well in a bumper last spring so it will be interesting to see how much confidence there is behind him in the market. Irish point recruit Muckamore is another to note in the betting.

A combination of a first run following wind surgery and a switch to the larger obstacles got PISTOL WHIPPED back on track when the six-year-old was successful over course and distance last month and the Seven Barrows inmate could have plenty more to come off a 6lb higher mark. The Hollow Ginge and Late Romantic are hard to dismiss despite looking in the handicappers grasp at present. However, the biggest danger could be Looks Like Murt, a 63-length winner at Kelso in October and still travelling sweetly when falling five from home at Newcastle last time.
Nicky Henderson's PISTOL WHIPPED made a successful chasing debut following a breathing operation over this C&D 7 weeks ago. He's a strong, strapping sort who's likely to improve further and looks well capable of following up. Looks Like Murt had yet to be asked for his effort before falling at Newcastle so is worth another chance, ahead of The Hollow Ginge.

BALLYELLIS has been extremely reliable over the past few months, finishing in the first two on his last eight starts, and the return to a claimer appeals as being the right move for the seven-year-old. Baracalu got off the mark over timber when getting the better of Percy at Market Rasen on Boxing Day and the pair are both capable of serving it up to the selection if reproducing their efforts.
BALLYELLIS has been one of the most consistent hurdlers around this season and, following a couple of excellent runner-up efforts in handicaps, he can get his head back in front returning to claiming company. Percy and Baracalu are both closely matched with the selection in terms of recent form but not as certain to arrive on their game.

PRAIRIE TOWN readily saw off Glance Back (second) amongst others in a similar C&D event last month and, although a 6lb rise will obviously make life tougher, he might be able to complete the double. The latter lines up off an unchanged mark and should show up well again, although Admiral's Secret, runner-up at both Taunton and Wincanton, might pose a bigger threat. DREWMAIN LEGEND gamely won a chase at Chepstow during the spring and has continued that forward momentum this term, winning and placing twice over hurdles. The victory was recorded at this venue and her subsequent third in a 0-125 handicap at Newbury was just as impressive, so another bold bid looks assured. Thoor Castle looks to be improving and merits consideration on her handicap debut, while Sabbathical has a chance on the form of his latest third at Plumpton.
THOOR CASTLE travelled comfortably for a long way while others struggled from a long way out in a well-run novice at Warwick last time and, although the handicapper has taken no chances with her opening mark, she can find enough improvement to make a winning handicap debut, likely at the expense of fellow winning pointer Sabbathical, who wasn't far away at Plumpton recently.
