Star Links comes into this in good form and seems sure to prove popular but slight preference is for LOVESTONED. The 4-y-o was an impressive winner at Naas four starts ago and although higher in the weights now, turned in a fine effort when finishing a close-up fourth in a well contested Curragh handicap last time. He looks good enough to take this. Hello Man has been knocking on the door of late and is another with claims along with Haaf Ok capable if bouncing back to her best.
Richelieu has an excellent record at this idiosyncratic track and is potentially thrown in from a mark 12 lb lower than when successful here last year. Hello Man and Kenton Street look the most serious dangers.

NORTHERN ROCKED just about sets the standard and comes into this in good heart following a cracking effort in defeat when second over 1m at Killarney last month. Four times a runner-up already, he is more than capable of landing one of these and deserves a change of luck. Prayer Boat is another to hold solid recent form claims while Makhaaleb was a winner over hurdles last time and must be respected returning to Flat duty.
John Joseph Murphy is still in very good form at present and his Prayer Boat looks to have been found a good opportunity to break his duck in maidens. Recent hurdles winner Makhaleeb is open to improvement and Fedora should at least place.

There is plenty to like about the chances of LIKE MAGIC who has proved himself a model of consistency of late and followed up a fine effort when third in a Leopardstown handicap by winning with ease in this company at Sligo two weeks ago. Another bold bid seems assured. Top-weight Desert Romance should appreciate this ease in grade but has struggled for form of late with similar comments applicable to Grand Opera, who hasn't fired over jumps recently.
Romeos On Fire looks to have a cracking chance at the weights in this claimer, considering his efforts of late have been creditable and in much stronger company. Cosmic Sun has to be respected, whilst Grand Opera is an interesting contender.

Some in form performers on show here but none more so than BORN TO EXCEL who is tremendously consistent and followed a string of fine efforts in defeat with a comfortable success at Gowran Park last month. Despite a 7lb rise in the weights, his claims appear rock solid. He's Got Rhythm is another who arrives here in winning form following his narrow success at Roscommon while Quai Du Roi has been covering himself with plenty of credit in both codes of late and will be expected to figure closely again. Qadar is another who has proved himself largely reliable.
Qadar looks well-treated returned to the scene of his most recent win and gets the nod ahead of Gracchus and Patrickswell.

DESERT BEN has been raised 6lb in the ratings for his fine runners-up effort over this trip at Naas last month but he was only narrowly touched off on that occasion and his recent form suggests another big run is on the cards. Statue Of Dreams was only a head behind The Hamptons when that pair fought out a thrilling finish over the minimum distance at Bellewstown 13 days ago and the former enjoys a 2lb pull in the weights today with Brockovich interesting having shaped with much more encouragement when third at Sligo on her latest start.
Teachers Choice is potentially chucked in from this mark and has done enough in recent starts to suggest he's in good enough form to exploit it. The Hamptons and Desert Ben look the most obvious dangers.

DAHINDAR has failed to find his best form of late but he has been seen contesting some pretty hot handicaps and should find this much much less taxing. Still relatively lightly-raced, he isn't one to give upon just yet. Initiation was a winner over this trip at Tipperary four starts ago and has a chance if finding that sort of form tonight while bumper winner A Hit Is A Hit could well have a future on the level judged on his creditable Flat debut effort at Sligo last month. That said, this trip could prove on the sharp side for him.
Dunne Grand and Dahindar look to have this maiden between them and marginal prefence goes to the former who has the slightly better recent form. Matchbook could well run into a place given recent improvement over hurdles.
