SENEGALIA (8) showed promise at first campaign and returned with a solid effort at Kyneton. All the better for that first-up showing and is expected to give this a shake. BIDAYA (4) produced a fair debut at Werribee then was off a break with a sound performance at Geelong last time. Will be improved by the run and must be respected. PRINCE OF ROME (3) is a son of Snitzel from the mare Palatine Hill that cost $300,000 as a yearling. Has trialled up soundly and is one to watch. HENTY (1) is returning from a break. Didn't show a lot at first campaign but trials prior to racing were solid. Worth keeping an eye on.

FUNNY IMPACT (7) charged home to just miss out here last time. Strips fitter this time and has to be respected. CRIMSON FACTOR (1) is a first starter by The Factor who was purchased for $50,000 as a yearling. Fitter for a recent trial when ridden by Will Price who stays aboard. Rates among the chances. JACK OF IT (2) is returning from a break. Broke maiden status here before an even run in town last time. Looks nicely off in this company while fresh and should make a bold bid. HILLCREST MOSES (3) has been racing in good form of late and is deserving of another win. Rates among the leading chances. VANCOUVER LAD (5) ran below expectations last time at Geelong after a good first-up run at Kyneton after almost 12 months away from racing. Is well worth another chance. VAMOS RAPIDO (4) registered a strong win on debut. Looks a promising type and is worth including in the hopes here.
