WHITE FEATHERS should prove difficult to beat in the opener. She had what looks to be tonight's biggest danger Westhaven almost nine lengths behind when runner-up over 2m3f here recently and is 5lb better off with that rival. Noel Meade's charge did show a big improvement that day, however, and could close the gap if progressing again, while Passion Planet was placed a couple of times on the Flat and could be worth a market check on her hurdling bow.
White Feathers had Westhaven almost 9 lengths adrift when runner-up here earlier this month and, with no real reason to suspect that the latter can reverse the placings this time, she can open her account. Hurdling debutante Passion Planet is most interesting of the rest.

SUPREME CAROLINA will take some stopping for the formidable Willie Mullins/Ruby Walsh combination. This bumper scorer would almost certainly have won on her hurdling debut at Cork last month but for a bad mistake at the last flight and should make amends tonight with a clear round of jumping. Sir Lynx rates the biggest threat on his quarter-of-a-length defeat at Tipperary latest, while Kaylas Charm, placed in three bumpers, is no forlorn hope on her first spin over timber.
Boxer Beat boasts solid form credentials, but Willie Mullins is firing in winners left, right and centre at present, and Supreme Carolina is taken to enhance the trainer's already impressive 32% strike-rate at this track. Sir Lynx should also make his presence felt.

It could pay to side with PADDY O DEE in what looks a wide-open handicap. The seven-year-old won nicely off this mark over fences at Ballinrobe recently and won't mind the forecast soft conditions. Nurse Ryan was last seen scoring readily over 2m at Ballinrobe in August and warrants plenty of respect despite resuming off a 9lb higher mark, while fellow last-time-out scorer Ross Na Righ and the Kieran Purcell-trained Doctor Henry are others worthy of consideration.
Audrelles Lad doesn't look badly handicapped judged on his recent effort at Sligo, but the vote goes to Substitute who should be sharper following a pipe-opener at Punchestown last month. Last-time-out chase winners Ross Na Righ and Paddy O Dee also make the shortlist.

Difficult to put forward any of these with great confidence, but RUSSIAN WAR should prove difficult to beat if on a going day. A Listed winner at the Aintree Festival last year, he is a class act on his day and Paul Carberry's waiting tactics could pay off in this small field. Shakervilz has a couple of Grade 2 wins on his CV (one hurdle, one chase) but doesn't look the force of old, so Ruby Walsh's mount Sergent Guib's looks to be the bigger threat.
Willie Mullins' duo Sergent Guib´s and Shakervilz should fight out the finish. The former, who appears to be the first string judged on jockey bookings, is taken to come out on top.

PRINCE LUDOVIC finally broke his duck at Clonmel last month and is switched to fences for this beginners' event. Top Madam appreciated a step up in trip and a quick surface at Wexford last month and the rapidly improving mare must come into the reckoning. She is yet to show her best on softer ground, though, so ANDIAMOS gets a tentative vote. Willie Mullins' horses are in great form as ever and, while failing to fire on debut at Fairyhouse, he is expected to have learned a lot and is worth another chance. Kilavalley makes most appeal of the others.
Top Madam looks sure to make a bold bid, while Andiamos is probably capable of a good deal better than he showed at Fairyhouse, but this can go to Kilavalley who shaped well on debut in a maiden hurdle.
