WHERE'S BUNNY was a good second over a similar trip at Wexford and seems to be going the right way over hurdles. She'll have a nice racing weight with her rider's 7lb claim and has decent prospects in a winnable maiden. Kitty Galore was outclassed by a long odds-on winner here recently but gave a good account of herself and her stable is in good form, while Family Business was second to a fair sort of Willie Mullins' in a maiden hurdle last winter. Miss Cedille was placed in four bumpers and made a respectable hurdling debut at Limerick, but she's been off since that outing in January.

MILLEN TO ONE had a couple of good runs in handicaps last winter and this is a good opportunity for him to get off the mark. He was quietly fancied when second at Leopardstown's Christmas fixture and again ran well when fourth on his most recent appearance at Fairyhouse in February. Deployed's fourth to Abracadabras in a bumper at Galway a couple of years ago catches the eye, but he's been lightly-raced since and may be better for this first taste of hurdle racing. Mam Trasna was second over hurdles at Tramore last summer and should have come on from his recent sixth, after a year off, at Clonmel. Dedanann can put plenty of hurdling experience to good use but may be booked for minor money at best.

A very good chance for the top-weight BACK TO BATAAN to get off the mark under Rules. He had some good handicap hurdle form last summer behind the likes of Cesarewitch runner-up Party Playboy and the useful dual-purpose performer Walking On Glass. He won a point-to-point in the autumn and was back to form when second over fences at Wexford recently. Influential Lady showed a bit of improvement off modest marks when placed at Cork and Tramore before maybe finding the ground too soft last time. She has claims, along with Mollyella whose last two runs have been respectable and who might find a little more in first-time cheekpieces.

Zinat and Ashton Court clash again after finishing first and second at Clonmel eight days back. It promises to be close between the pair here too, and Ashton Court could be helped by the addition of cheek-pieces. For a selection though, PAULA'S PRAYER fits the bill. That was an excellent effort from the Pour Moi mare when as a 16/1 chance she finished second to Crimson Chief at Downpatrick on August 31st. I'm not sure what difference coming back in trip will have for Conor O'Dwyer's charge. A two pound rise in the ratings shouldn't be insurmountable for the five-year-old, and encouragingly the front pair where six lengths clear of the third 'up north.'

FLEMINGS DREAM may well be up to beating the boys. The Flemensfirth mare could hardly have done it any better when scoring over the course and distance three weeks back. A modest heat that may have been but Flemings Dream was an impressive fifteen length victor, and as a five-year-old there might well be more to come. It won't be easy for Flemings Dream's rivals to concede weight to Ray Cody's promising type, and Gordon Elliott takes her on with two Cullentra House inmates, Soldiers Hill and Metal Man, with the latter looking the stable select. With his 122 rating Oscar Montel is the one to aim for. He was beaten a long way at Killarney last time. This trip looks better for him.

MICK CHARLIE returns to the scene of his August 8th success and he could get back on the winning trail after finishing second at Killarney in the interim. The Mr Dinos gelding is upped to three miles one furlong now, and hopefully that'll be no big issue for an eight-year-old that's done his time in the point-to-point fields. At Killarney Mick Charlie looked a winner until not fluent two out. Soon headed, the selection didn't have the pace to deal with Jiving Jerry at that two and a half mile trip. He's creeping up the handicap alright, but this will be more about staying power than change of gear and it promises to suit the progressive sort. Balinaboola Steel was impressive at Wexford and a bold bid is likely despite his top-weight burden. Cases can be built for a few others as well. including Walk Me Home.

A WAVE OF THE SEA was noted making a slight mistake, and being a little slow at another obstacle, when fourth on his chase debut at Killarney on August 22nd. Again with his healthy four-year-old weight allowance the 138-rated hurdler should be difficult to beat going up to this near two and a half mile trip. Owner of the selection, J P McManus, also has Fightfortheroses in the mix, but he's not easy to make a case for. Brog Ahaon, Future Proof, Lever Du Soleil, Mister Eddman and Ya Boy Ya are others to keep in mind. A course and distance victor from three weeks back HIGH SPARROW could be in line for further Kilbeggan gains. The Shantou gelding got twelve pounds for beating Napoleon Blue, and looking at that six length victory the hefty rise was probably justified. High Sparrow's 127 rating now, is still a couple of pounds below the mark he has for hurdling, and there may be more to come from Joseph O'Brien's seven-year-old. The aforementioned Napoleon Blue is again in the field with each-way prospects. Mark Walsh rides Timiyan of J P McManus' pair, and maybe he can come on a bit for the addition of cheek-pieces. Though she's competing in her first handicap chase, Boro Tari is worth keeping in mind on the back of a Tramore mares beginners win. This stamina test might well play to her strengths.
