Competitive opener. PRAY FOR RAIN was well backed on debut and ran accordingly, showing pace throughout before only tiring late. The form of that race has been franked so, with improvement expected, he should go close in this. Filly MUSICAL GLITCH has also shown promise and could give cheek with a sex allowance and 1,5kg claimer to aid her cause. Watch the betting on BOWIE.

Tricky. DYNASTIC LIGHT is above average but is bred to go ground so will need further to be seen at her best. Last-start maiden winner ALASKAN LIGHT has more to do in this company but is on the up and must be respected. Stable companion GOLD MEDAL has ability and is another to consider.
