Verdict

A very interesting opening race. It is not as often as before that we see an Australian-bred two-year-old carded. ST HARRY is a son of Harry's Angel and he can win on debut for visiting trainer Peter Muscutt. VERCICAT and GODRIC GRYFFINDOR both showed promise on debut and can improve with that experience. There are many well-bred newcomers but maybe the best of them could be the Gimmethegreenlight colt NAVASNINE who represents Snaith Racing.

Verdict

OCTOBER FEST does look a hard filly to win with but she will take some beating against these rivals. FINAL CALL is an improving stable companion of hers and could be better than her rating.
