Verdict

GO IT ALONE was returning from a rest and gelding when running on strongly to finish just ahead of IN THE BAG over course and distance last time. He is 0.5g worse off with that rival but is good value to confirm his superiority with improved fitness on his side and further progress expected. AMANCIO and stablemate GOLD GUNNER ought to improve with the benefit of an introductory outing under the belt, although a bigger threat is likely to come from GIVETHATMANABELLS who has both the form and experience to play a leading role.

Verdict

Tricky. FASTNET FILLY was heavily supported when disappointing over this distance last time but she ought to have strengthened/improved in the 12 weeks since so cannot be written off on her return. Both PLUM PUDDING and HAMPSTEAD HEATH have run well enough in two introductory sprints over 1200m to warrant respect, with improvement expected over this longer trip. QHAWEKAZI wasn't disgraced when running on from a long way back to finish unplaced over 1600m but she should pose more of a threat back over this distance. ROCKING PEONIE and DEVILISHLYGORGEOUS are drawn wide but have claims too.

Verdict

Good race. KWITE A KING has improved with blinkers fitted and ran well in both starts from a wide draw, so is good value to confirm his superiority over LOCKHEEDLIGHTNING who is weighted to turn the tables. FLY FUTURA is held on that form but would've needed his last start after gelding, so ought to fare better. CONTINENTALEXPRESS and FRENCH TRP have also shown enough to get involved. Verdict

Good race. NATYAM stayed on well over 1800m when touched off by a subsequent 3yo Grade 3 3rd to whom he was conceding 4.5kg and need only run to that level over this extended trip to give weight and a beating to these rivals. ROYAL WATCH will have no issue seeing out this distance and ought to be competitive in his peak outing. GIMME MORE TIME and MARSHALL FIELD are unexposed over this trip but ran on well over 1800m last time and on that evidence, are unlikely to be troubled by this step up in trip. The former is weighted to reverse the form of their recent meeting. BROADWAY GIRL is next.

Good race. GO LIKE FLO reeled off a hat-trick of wins with blinkers refitted before a break and ought to remain competitive on her return, despite a hefty 6-point penalty. She beat KAMAKAZI in the 2nd of those 3 wins but the latter is weighted to reverse that form on the revised terms. Verdict

Tricky. TEFLON MAN bounced back to form when reverting to a sprint (1000m) last time but is most effective over this distance, so rates the horse to beat. Consistent hard-knocker ALL ABOUT AL ought to remain competitive but is held on recent form by NIGHT TIGER who is more than capable but has been unreliable of late. DUMBLEDORE got back on track last time and should confirm that form over TENANGO, STREET OUTLAW and GIMMELIGHTNING, all of whom could get closer on these terms.
