There was plenty to like about LORD HUNTINGDON's debut in this sphere at Huntingdon earlier this month, as the three-year-old made use of his Flat form to trounce a juvenile field. He was quite novicey in the early stages but soon got the hang of things and pulled away nicely from the pack. Alan King mentioned the Wensleydale at Wetherby so the son of Lord Of England is clearly held in decent regard. Masterson and Tasty Ginger look best of the remainder, while Cliffs Of Dover would be a threat if turning out quickly following a win on Friday.
A race farmed by Alan King in recent years and LORD HUNTINGDON can give the Barbury Castle handler another winner after making a perfect start in this sphere earlier this month. Cliffs of Dover is his obvious danger if turned out quickly following his win on Friday.

COWARDS CLOSE often reserves his best efforts for when arriving back from a break and the nine-year-old looks to hold strong claims in a modest renewal. This looks an excellent opportunity for MY TENT OR YOURS to get back in the winner's enclosure for the first time since winning a jumper's bumper in February 2014. Nicky Henderson worked miracles to get him back to his best form with his efforts at Cheltenham and Aintree showcasing that he was back with a vengeance when runner-up twice to Annie Power before finding Punchestown one run too many when third behind Vroum Vroum Mag. He gets weight from all his rivals barring stablemate Hargam, who is next best on ratings but has to prove his well-being after two poor efforts, so the main danger could be Rayvin Black, who gave The New One a race at Haydock in the Champion Hurdle Trial last term and will wear his heart on his sleeve from the front which should help the selection settle. Gwafa and Mister Miyagi both showed plenty of promise as novices and could well have more to offer this season, while Court Minstrel isn't out of this on ground he loves.

PRINCE KHURRAM has been in solid form over the summer months and can take full advantage of fitness over the majority of his rivals who make their returns after a break. After Hours should make up into a decent handicap chaser and would be a threat on his best hurdles form, while Jarlath is another in decent heart and merits plenty of consideration.
TROJAN STAR had made his way to the front and was going well when trying to run out and unseating his rider at Hereford last week so he is probably worth a chance to confirm he's better than his current mark. Valseur du Granval clearly has ability but he showed signs of temperament in the closing stages at Southwell last time, so isn't one to rely on.

A race that has a decent history with the likes of Balthazar King (2009), Le Bec (2012) and Tea For Two (2014) all taking this before going on to achieve greater things in their careers. This renewal on paper doesn't look to have a similar type to those but LOUGH DERG LEADER makes the most appeal having won a point-to-point earlier in the year and Tom Lacey has wasted no time in booking Richard Johnson to take the ride. Leith Hill Lad should benefit from better ground than he encountered on hurdles debut at Warwick last November, while Tower Of Allen was disappointing in bumpers but will appreciate a step up in distance over timber.
LEITH HILL LAD didn't go without promise in a bumper/maiden hurdle 7 months apart last year, understandably hinting at inexperience. He gets the narrow vote on return, though market support for point-recruit Lough Derg Leader would put a different slant on things.
