DICHOH had been on a losing run dating back to 2009 prior to scoring for this rider here last week and it is little surprise to see Michael Madgwick turn him out quickly under a penalty before the handicapper has had chance to react, given he's won off considerably higher marks than this in his pomp. The switch to polytrack seemed to spark improvement in Genes Of A Dancer who is raised 6lb for scoring over C&D last month. Blue Noodles and Hierarch look to be coming back to the boil after recent placed efforts and are others to consider.
Hierarch shaped better than the bare result at Brighton last time and gets the nod here having dropped to a very favourable mark. Tudor Prince and Genes of A Dancer appeal most of the rest.

AVON RIVER usually gives his running at plating level and is taken to gain compensation for missing out on a hat-trick at Windsor last time. The selection was touched off by a short-head that day but should take all of the beating on these terms if ridden a little more prominently today. Kishanda looks capable of getting competitive with a featherweight on her back. However, her best efforts on the all-weather so far have come on the slower Fibresand and it remains to be seen whether she can reproduce her best form on polytrack. Signor Verdi has claims on the pick of his best efforts but recent promise has been none existent.
The usually-reliable Avon River is going to be hard to beat if putting his latest run behind him, with Langley narrowly preferred to Kishanda for the forecast.

MR KNIGHTLEY ran his rivals ragged when landing a moderate 7f claimer here last month and although 1m proved beyond him here when last sighted, a return to winning mays may be imminent now dropped back to a more suitable trip. Pint Size rarely finishes out of the frame and looks a danger now returned to 6f. Others to consider are Tidal's Baby, who steps outside of maiden company for the first time, and Redair, who may have been inconvenienced by the soft ground at Chepstow last time.
Mr Knightley has been much improved since fitted with blinkers and can notch his second success dropped in trip. Pint Size and Redair can battle it out for the minor honours.

AVAILABLE ran with promise on debut at Leicester, grabbing fourth over 7f, and is expected to better that effort now dropped back to this shorter trip. Poseidon Grey failed to build upon an encouraging C&D debut second when last sighted at Sandown but a return to polytrack entitles him to improve while Ed Dunlop's newcomer Khubala makes plenty of appeal on breeding, having fetched 100,000 gns as a yearling and also being a half-brother to a Group 3 winning sprinter.
Available showed plenty of speed on her debut last week and the drop to 6f looks a smart move. She should take all the beating, with newcomer Khubala as interesting as any of the others.

This should go the way of GRAPHIC, twice a winner from four starts, including a comfortable success over 7f here in a similar contest last month. With further improvement likely and this extra furlong likely to suit, he should take all the beating. Newmarket maiden winner Kinglet is another progressive sort but has something to find with the selection. Ghostwriting and Storming Bernard have shown plenty of ability and it would be foolish to dismiss their chances.
Graphic was impressive over 7f here last time and should take a bit of stopping with the step up to 1m expected to be in his favour. The progressive Samuel Pickwick may pose the biggest threat.

It's difficult to oppose the claims of DECEPTIVE here despite her 6lb penalty for this month's 1m4f success. She was an easy seven-length winner that day, however, and, with further improvement a distinct possibility, she should be capable of defying her penalty to follow up. Waahej scored at Windsor two starts ago and has won on the all-weather but may be in the grip of the handicapper at present and Evergreen Forest, a comfortable winner over 1m4f here latest and just 3lb worse off at the weights, looks a bigger threat to the selection.
Deceptive turned in a much-improved effort on her return from a break here last week, and will be hard to beat if in the same frame of mind. Beat Route and Jodawes have decent place claims.

SHARP BULLET stepped up on a number of solid placed efforts when scoring gamely over the minimum trip at Catterick recently and, despite being burdened with a 6lb penalty tonight, he gets the vote to follow up. Glastonberry has improved in each of her three maiden starts and must enter calculations now entering handicap company, while Rightcar ran up to somewhere near his best in both starts over extended 5f trips here last month and is certainly no forlorn hope now stepping back up in distance.
Sharp Bullet and Rightcar come into this race in better heart than most, the vote going to the former in the hope his stamina holds out over the extra furlong. The lightly-raced Glastonberry is another to consider.
