NUCLEAR MELTDOWN failed to land a telling blow when fourth over this trip at Woodbine last time, but she has much less on her plate tonight and will be well fancied to get off the mark. Gilded Memory has filled the runner-up spot on her two latest starts and should close once again, while Lynx Of Gold is another that merits a place on the short-list
PAIUTE stayed on in determined fashion when landing the spoils over five and a half furlongs at Presque Isle Downs last time and, with this step up in trip not a concern, he could take some stopping in his bid to follow up. Boot Cut won in gritty fashion at Kentucky latest and is unlikely to go down without a fight, while Sabino is another that warrants respect.
TATES QUEEN was fairly impressive when striking gold over a similar trip at Arlington last time and is extremely hard to oppose in her bid to complete the double. Dix Huit has crept into the frame on her two latest starts and seems sure to be in the premises once again, while recent Kentucky winner, Morgan's Field, is another with claims.
DRUMS OF THUNDER showed a likeable attitude when scoring over this trip at Monmouth last time and will be strongly fancied to follow up tonight. Humble Earl has the hat trick firmly in his sights and could pose the main danger, while Briar Man is another worthy of consideration following his recent Kentucky success.
DRAGUM was doing all her best work in the closing stages when third over seven and half furlongs at Louisiana last time and could prove the one to be on stepped up in trip this evening. Serna's Gold has collected the bronze medal on her two latest starts and seems sure to be in the firing line once again, while Patricia is another interesting player.
JUST LIKE BISCUIT was far from disgraced when fifth in a Grade 3 race here last time and, with a much easier task ahead of him tonight, he could prove a cut above these rivals. Deposer is also taking a significant drop in grade and looks sure to make his presence felt here, while Extreme Warrior is another that cannot be ruled out.
ZANILLA made a pleasing start to her racing career when runner-up over six and a half furlongs at Turfway last month and, with further improvement on the cards, she looks sure to take all the beating. Uno Peso and Our Dahlia have both shown enough promise in recent workouts to suggest that they can go close first time out.
SCHOOL GIRL has been in dazzling form recently and, following her gritty success over 5f at Presque Isle Down last time, she will be strongly fancied to complete the hat trick. Miss A. Bomb was narrowly touched off at Turfway latest and seems sure to be on the scene once again, while Misty Lady is another in with a squeak.
PRIMETIME PRINCESS appeared to have plenty left in reserve when landing the spoils over this trip at Ellis Park last time and gets the vote to land her third consecutive victory. Panthera Tigre faces a much easier task than her recent third at this venue and could give the selection most to think about, along with Jeffrey Thornbury's mare, Angapanga.
