QUENTASIA can finally get it right after being beaten as favourite in her last two. She is dropping in distance but a set of blinkers may make all the difference. HEAD GIRL has run two decent local races so far and it could be the right race for her. She is quite speedy. The dark horse may be LITTLEBLACKVELVET who showed good pace on the turf at this venue after a rest. She has blinkers fitted and could make further progress on her poly debut. DRESSEDTOTHENINES and GRECIAN PALACE should be right there on best form.

Verdict

SHOT OF COURAGE is holding form well and would be deserving. He was only just beat down the straight at Hollywoodbets Scottsville and back at his favourite track from draw one should take all the beating. TRAFALGAR SQUARE won a nice race here a few starts back and returning to the poly could be dangerous again. ANOTHERDAYINAFRICA disappointed last time. He needs the race run to suit but must be included. Both MAJORCA PALACE and DROGARATI were unlucky a few starts back and also need to be respected.

Verdict

CHICHICASTENANGO has been given time to mature and been brought along steadily. She caught the eye from a wide gate last time and if taking to the poly should have every chance. DYMONDIA has been doing everything but win. She is a bit better than her last run on the turf but has a wide draw to negotiate so will need some luck. ACCUMULATE ran no kind of race last time but her penultimate effort was decent and she may just be looking for this surface. Watch out for well-bred Global View filly WONDERFUL who showed something last time. She can only improve. More can earn at big odds.

FIREFLARE is going about it the right way and may carry top weight to victory. MAYOR OF MERRIVALE doesn't cut a consistent character but he came back to form last time and could build on that third-place finish having drawn well. KING'S ISLAND is getting the hang of things. He finished clear second best last time but has drawn a bit wide which he may need to overcome early in the race. HERMANUS SUNRISE caught the eye on local debut. Verdict

ACTION STATIONS has had some tough luck, beaten in close calls. He has drawn well again and could finally get his head in front. LAUDATO didn't disgrace himself on the turf in his first run out the maidens when finishing ahead of DUKE OF AFRICA. He should have every chance back on the poly from gate one. DUKE OF AFRICA is also better on this surface. He is capable of a big finish but will need luck in running coming from off the pace. EVENTIDOR was unlucky not to get a clear run last time. He can get it right if repeating the effort. More with earning potential in it.

Verdict

After needing his last run on turf, IZAPHA is back on the poly and is expected to go well from a good gate. He will have more of a task in fending off TIME TAKER at the revised conditions after beating him earlier. The latter ran a decent race on the turf recently and should have every chance of finally scoring on this surface. BANZAI PIPELINE shouldn't be far off either. He has finished ahead of BLAZING LIGHT the last two times they met but the latter is coming back to best and could be a bigger threat this time. FEW DOLLARS MORE, JOSEPHINE'S PRIDE and RODRIGUEZ are capable too.
