Verdict

A difficult start to a tough card. JAY AGAIN is returning from a rest but if fit and well he could be the right one. The Jay Peg gelding has battled to win but this could be his race for the taking. AMONG SAINTS ran her worst race to date last time but is better on the Polytrack and she has pole position draw. BUSTER BROWN is also better at this track and has to be respected.

Verdict

PENA PALACE likes this surface and looks hard to oppose in this modest company. Jockey Stuart Randolph will have to keep him a lot handier than normal though. TOPAZ RAIN has lacked a strong finish in most of his starts but should be in the shake-up. PIECE OF POPPY is clearly better than her last run and she could take home some place money..

Verdict

Another open looking lower grade handicap. MILITARY LEADER has some decent Polytrack form but this will be his first race on the turf. TRENDY GUY needed his last run and can improve.
