Verdict

ROY'S ROLL'S ROYCE wasn't disgraced after rest when a running on third at Scottsville last time. He was gelded prior and may just enjoy this shorter trip better. PAMPAS showed potential in his second race and then disappointed over further. He has been rested and could show top form. The form is thin here and first timers could benefit. Both are bred to be decent.

CAUSE CELEBRE has done enough to win a race and she showed she enjoyed this longer trip at Scottsville last time. JAYRISTA has been in good nick upcountry and Anton Marcus is booked to give her every chance. She should overcome her draw at the jump. Verdict

Nice race for up and coming three-year-olds. VICTORIOUS JAY has top class form and jumps from a decent draw after rest. He is weighted to win by a point from BEAT THE RETREAT who romped home last time. This is a tougher race but the latter won showing class. MAMBO MIME just needed it last but has to find lengths on BARITONE and SYLVESTER THE CAT. He has much in his favour now.

Verdict

Almost anything can happen here. But recent form suggests BIG SI should produce a good effort especially as he has dropped in ratings.
