Verdict

BOMBARDIER BOY showed good promise on turf at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on debut. He can only improve and can open his account on the second time of asking. AUSTRIAN BEAUTY has much improved of late and is knocking at the door. She has gate No 1 and should have every chance. CAPRICIOUS MISS needed her last run after a rest and should make improvement. She wasn't disgraced in her penultimate start. RAGING MOON showed good pace last time but is carded to run prior and that run must be checked. First-timer PEACECRUIZER is well bred and can make a fair debut.

Verdict

First-timer OVATION STAR is well related and won't need to be a star to make a winning debut. Follow the betting markets closely. KALI BWANA tried the Polytrack earlier but looks a bit better than what she showed then. She has matured and having drawn well must give a good account. Watch out for THE SCARLET CAT who runs for a stable in good form. She showed pace on soft ground in her last start and has drawn well again. XIPHOS found only one better when making further improvement last time. He should prefer the longer trip. SUSURRANDO showed something on debut over a distance that looked short. He could be the one to watch for big improvement but he has drawn widest. CAPTAIN FRANK stayed on in both starts on the Polytrack and could offer a bit more over the extra. TWOCANTANGO didn't prove effective when tried over ground last time. His prior form wasn't bad and he could be right there this time. THE SHEPHERD sets the standard as he has run with the best around and not disgraced himself. He is also one from one at the track and is weighted to go well. ROLLO THE VIKING has decent form and is in good nick at present. He carries a light weight and could fend off challenges. Watch out for high-class filly MOCHA BLEND. Verdict

MRSGLITTERSPARKLES wasn't disgraced in her first run out of maiden company when 2.20 lengths behind in Class 4 company. She should strip fitter in her second run after a rest and is back on the Polytrack. MOUNTAINSOFTHEMOON should make things tough for all. She has finished runner-up in her last two and has the best of the draws. SCHIPOLE ran a good race with a big weight in her last start and can improve on her previous run on the Poly. PRINCESS GOLDIE stayed on again when back from a break and she could get the timing right. ROY TAKING OFF won a nice race last time.

Verdict

ILHA DA ORANGE loves the Polytrack. Her merit rating may have gone up 5 points for her last win, but she asserted her authority in that race and could do so again. QHAWEKAZI finished second best when fitted with blinkers last time. She looks a big threat even if dropping in distance. ICY LANCASTER looked dangerous in her last start and is hopefully back to her best. The yard of trainer Gareth van Zyl is doing quite well at present. SCHOOL POLICY is one of many that could get into the money. PURPLE FLOWER is not one to ignore on the Poly.
