Verdict

PALLADIUM is a half brother to brilliant racemare Val De Ra and by Silvano so could have star potential. If he doesn't need it he may produce fireworks. RAND HEDGE fought hard on local debut and should be quite competitive. But he drew widest. PRINCE ARIANO and MY PAL AL weren't disgraced on debut and are well bred. Follow the betting moves.

Verdict

The Canon Guineas brings Graded form from all over the country and this race must show who the strongest of the colts are. BLACK ARTHUR wasn't disgraced in the Derby behind stablemate IT'S MY TURN who has drawn wide. This track and trip should prove ideal. RABADA showed his class last but it will take a great ride for him to remain unbeaten. More top sorts have drawn badly.
