PAFURI had not shown much in the West Cape but was eye catching on his local debut. He was a good second on the turf here and could be anything on the poly tonight. Verdict

MOUNT ANDERSON took off in good style and was only beaten a neck in his second official start. A well bred sort he could be hard to beat on the poly. TEICHMAN races after quite a layoff and jumps from a wide draw. Still his debut was decent - must respect. BOLD PHOENIX is holding form but needs to do a bit more to win. LUNDY'S LAD was a costly flop last time but he was dropping in trip and can make amends tonight back over this trip. MASTER OF DESTINY put in a nice effort from a plum draw last time.
