GOA tried this surface in a Barrier Trial last week and wasn't too far off. She should improve and from draw one with Anton Marcus up should be the one to beat. KATEECADOR tries the track after quite a layoff and may just need it. But she has done little wrong in three races and has a plum draw. SO VAIN was not far off KATEECADOR the time they met but has a wider draw.

Watch out for: So Vain (2)

KATEECADOR is narrowly favoured all things considered but has little margin for error. Goa could provide the chief threat, while The Last Word is another with place prospects too first time out.

CUTTING EDGE won well when tried with blinkers last time. Could be on the up still. MR ROY loves this track and has drawn better this time. Should be there.
