All of these look to have some talent and hard to rule a line through any of them. Always respect the Godolphin team in these races; they bring them to the track well educated and ready to run. VA VIA (10) profiles as the pick of their two with Ollie booked and the jump out was nice. Strong through the line there and will have no troubles running the 1100m right out on debut. The O'Brien pair, STUPENDO (5) and HELL HATH NO FURY (8), both looked good natural two-year-olds at the Werribee jump outs. The former comes from a family the yard have had good success with. KUMICHO (3) and EPIC CENTRE (1) are the most appealing from those to have raced. Both did enough on debut to be respected in this.

REDWOOD SHADOW (9) was close up at Warrnambool and ready to win one before going to Sandown. Just never got a lot of room there, buried away from the low draw, and that isn't his go. Should get some more breathing room this time with Kah aboard from four and Flemington is ideal. He can beat ELUDING (2) who has gone two from two this time in and did it well enough last time to be a winning threat again. Also from Sandown, BRASADA (7) has been close up in his latest couple and rates well enough to figure along with HASSELTOFF (4) who was a winner here last summer and may turn things around off a plain run last time. Freshened up for this.

Had a good margin over the chasing pack around the Valley last time and can go on improving. CHOSEN BLONDE (12) won well fresh. Solid latest and she is capable here. FLORESCENT STAR (6) was sound first up just ahead of Award Winner and must be respected through that profile/formline. DIAMONDS (1) has ratings to figure.
