INSTANT FLASH came in for some support in the betting over C&D last month and her third placed finish was promising, especially considering she had to come widest of all to mount her challenge, and she is fancied to be on the premises here. Sammzilla and Black Mandate look the best of the rest.
IT'S HUGE was all the rage in the betting when finishing third last month and having shaped as if further would suit there, the extended trip this time around can help him repay his supporters. Cameron Canyon and Sheridan Square also warrant consideration.
SMART THINKING couldn't have done it much easier here last time, taking up the running early on and asserting his authority to draw over five lengths clear, and although this is tougher, he looks to have the ability to come out on top again. Bob E and D' Sauvage rate as the best of the rest.
BEAU FORTUNE found just one too good in his bid to justify favouritism here last month, but having beaten Spectacular Act (third) and Real Wonder (fourth) there, he has proven himself against some of these rivals already, and looks capable of gaining compensation. Distinct Attitude completes the shortlist.
INSANE SPEED stepped up on a couple of solid placed efforts when scoring readily over this track and trip last time and, with that confidence booster under her belt, she is fancied to follow up. Lightning Lu and Greeley's Bird also hold claims.
HONEST JOHNNY has struck the crossbar on his last three starts and gets the vote to claim a much deserved first career victory in what looks a fairly moderate heat. Son Of A Tramp and Royal Argument are others to consider.
HAROLDS WARRIOR only lost out by three-parts of a length when runner-up over track and trip last time and he gets the vote to go one better tonight. Readundant was behind the selection that day (finishing third) and should give another good account, but Zeddemore rates the bigger threat.
SIGNOR MARTINI has impressively put four wins together recently and he can hit the target again this evening. Purge Bird and Powhatan County are taken to fight out minor honours.
ALI'S WINNER edges the vote in a competitive heat. He won with plenty in hand over 1m here last time and is sure to go close if arriving in the same mood this evening. Copywriter and Paddy Kunuckles are other respected players.
