Verdict

Six juveniles are carded and only two of them have raced. FYFIELD LEGEND has shown promise and was unlucky not to win last time out. He can make his experience count but rival trainer Alan Greeff could have a line on him. One of his juveniles was narrowly beaten that day and has subsequently won. This time around Greeff sends out an unraced colt. A son of Buffalo Bill Cody and with stable jockey Richard Fourie in the irons he would not be a surprise winner. FUTUROLOGIST did not show much on debut but can improve. There are also two EriK The Red colts making their debuts and both INTO RED SPACE and TRIGGER WARNING can earn some money.

Verdict

An interesting race as they are battling maidens. TERMINAL VELOCITY has been very costly to follow but she is capable of winning a race and might like it back on the grass, AM STILL WINNING has been unreliable but does have a place chance in this small, weak field. EXPLOSIVE GIFT was a well-beaten third last time but should like it back on the grass and has claims at winning. RED LHASA, SUGAR BABY LOVE and MISSOURI FLAME are capable of improvement back on turf and can get involved with the finish.

Verdict

ONE DANCE clearly did not show her best form on the Polytrack last time out. She has improved since blinkers were added and could pull off another victory. FAMILY POWER has shown good form since moving from the Western Cape and showed she is just as good on the grass as on the Polytrack. She should fight out the finish. Stable companions AVERNIAN GODDESS and HOERIKWAGGO have been solid on the Polytrack but will need to show that they are as good on the turf. BLUE PALACE has a place chance in this line-up.

Verdict

A modest bunch of maidens go to post for this. WARRIOR'S EDGE has been a disappointment twice in a row but does have excuses for both defeats. He did not like the Polytrack in his penultimate start and a wide draw cost him last time out. He is better drawn this time around and Chad Little will get the best out of him. PICK A POMODORO has held form and should fight out the finish over this course and distance. WORLD CHOICE does seem better than a poor last run and could earn some money. FROM THE HIP has some fair form and is not out of it. FORT IMPREZA could be the surprise package back on the grass. MAGIC GREENLIGHT can improve making a local debut.

THUNDER MASTER is not an easy ride but showed what he is capable of with a good last win and he might just follow up. INGQWELE ran a cracker on local debut and can go one place better, A BIT CHILLY is not reliable but is also not out of it. ACTION AMERICA and CORAL CREEK both bounced back to form with good runs and can be competitive once again. HOLLANDIA BAKKERIJ and BLACKBERRY BREEZE have been in good form this year and can earn some more money. CADENZA could like this course and distance and might be a threat as well.

Verdict

Some very open races to finish a tough card. SPOIL YOURSELF was caught too far out of her ground last time but ran on strongly at the finish. She is back on the grass after a while but can score. OLIVE OYL has been a disappointment of late and could prefer the Polytrack but is also clearly capable of another win. GLORIA MUNDI makes her local debut and is capable of improvement. GREENLIGHT DANCER is better than her last run and can bounce back to score now on the grass, WELSH STARLET has been a revelation of late with some good wins but needs to show it on the grass this time around.
