A trappy contest, despite the small field, with slight preference for MASTERS LEGACY, who may have disappointed here last time out but he has had wind surgery since and was a determined winner over C&D on his penultimate start. Gustavian is a player based on the pick of his form, even though he is winless since February 2021, while Fox Pro never got involved when third over track and trip but cannot be dismissed lightly.
MASTERS LEGACY clearly can't have been right last time and, having been freshened up, is well worth another chance to confirm the promise of his C&D chase debut success.

A return to hurdles can work the oracle for PRIME TIME LADY, who never went a yard on her chasing debut at Huntingdon last month. Never outside the first three in six starts over the smaller obstacles last year, Mel Rowley's charge may have too much for Midnight Callisto, who took a step back in the right direction when not beaten far at Southwell. Perfect Myth will need to improve to have a say in proceedings.

A respectable fourth on his latest start at Chepstow and a winner of a bumper at Sandown in the past, BUCKHORN ROCCO sets the standard in this moderate affair and can get off the mark over hurdles. Earth King offered a bit of encouragement here last time out, but the step up to an extended 2m5f looked to catch him out eventually so he should be much more at home over this distance. Rapid River can pick up the pieces if either of the main two falter.
This should be plain sailing for BUCKHORN ROCCO who has achieved much more than his 3 rivals here having reached the frame in a couple of novices this year.
