Enjoying something of a renaissance since July, JOURNAL INTIME (7) is reunited with Eric Raffin who imposed with him at Les Sables, and is sufficiently well-positioned to win this. Significantly better than recent numbers would suggest, JAFAR DE FAEL (1) has already won for Matthieu Abrivard and, barefoot this time, can give Antoine Marion's horse a run for his money. Barring his Vire blip, JUGEMENT D'AVE (5) has been in flying form and, from the 5-spot, Yoann Lebourgeois will be justifiably confident of a big run. JAMSHIR (8) appears to be nearing his best, sports a new configuration, and the engagement of Alexandre Abrivard will do his prospects no harm.

Barefoot from the front row, he has every chance of bringing home the bacon. That said, KENNEDY FRANCE (5) is better-positioned behind the car, has had time to recalibrate, and will be expected to return in full force. Back at the top of his game, KNOX JENILOU (6) failed to deliver here during the summer, but returns on a hat-trick, and must be taken seriously.
