A cracking renewal in which all seven declared runners have a chance. Most eyes will be on multiple Grade 1 winner Silviniaco Conti and the veteran performer is sure to be fully wound up for his seasonal return, but he probably isn't the force of old and there could be value in taking him on. The one who makes most appeal is VALSEUR LIDO, who really came into his own last term, chasing home Djakadam, Vautour and Menorah either side of jumping errors at Kempton and Leopardstown, and in-form handler Henry de Bromhead will have him fighting fit for his reappearance. Don Poli, who wears cheekpieces for the first time, and last season's Grand National runner-up The Last Samuri will no doubt have their supporters as well.

His jumping wasn't the best but he stayed well and should continue to progress in this sphere for a trainer who has started the season well. Sue Oscar is a consistent type who should make the frame once more, while market support for Presenting Beara with a first-time tongue-tie on stable debut would certainly be worth noting.
