Only a moderate heat and slight preference is for SPIRIT IN THE NITE, who placed in a couple of stronger maiden claimers here last month. Hauler and Pagan Joy also hold claims.
KNEE SOCKS left her two previous efforts well behind when stepped up to the extended 1m trip here last time. She remains open to plenty of improvement at this sort of distance and gets the vote to see off Itsmy Zipcode, two lengths behind the selection latest, and Rapid Repair.
This Was Your Ring and Alberta Clipper look best of the experienced runners, but they don't set the bar too high, and it might pay to take a chance on racetrack debutant DEPUTIZE. She has shaped with plenty of promise in her workouts and Alan Goldberg is sure to have her fairly wound up for her first competitive start.
FLYING SLEW was a good second over 6f here last time out recently, a rpeat of that run in this mediocre race will see him go well. Im Still Arockstar was progressive in maiden company and won well last time, while Bogelia is also respected.
R ROUSEY can fight her way to victory after showing a good attitude in two solid efforts recently here over 5.5f and 6f. Becky Kecki wasn't beaten far on debut and has to be respected, along with Mettemarlamelva.
JONESY BOY drops significantly in grade here after some solid efforts in higher value claiming races, he was contesting and running well in stakes races last year before taking a year's break. Harbor Breeze and Word Racer look the pick of the rest.
A very moderate race in which the marginal preference goes to EYE OF THE MOON, who third here in a better race than this two starts ago. Sartorius was set an impossible task last time in a valuable maiden and can go well in this more realistic grade, while Northampton Kid looks the pick of the rest.
JUSTONEOFAKIND has been knocking on the door recently in similar races and another solid run looks on the cards. Fashionable Frolic has been in good form recently and is worthy of consideration along with Thealkascraftygirl.
LADY DAWN AA has been consistent in these sort of races recently and a repeat of her debut run over C&D would see her very hard to beat. Lady Haha chased her home that day and is likely to do so again, while Madgicall can round out the places.
