MADEMOISELLE went well in a workout earlier in the month, is related to winners and may be up to making a winning debut from the rail post. Meadow Phone Home runs with Lasix added, having been well held on debut, as does J. J.'s Special and they may benefit from that. Lexie Girl is another debutant to make some appeal on paper.
Won By A Bit has 1l to make up on Red Mary on their latest running and both should be vying for at least a share of the stakes money here. Pepperup Potion has solid claims in this grade on her first turf start but experience of the surface may see ENJOYABLE come home in front following her third place in a better contest last time. Kiss Me Deadly put up a fair effort on debut and should come on for the experience.
SUPER TOUGH won three times last season and shaped well enough on her reappearance to suggest that the next success wasn't far away. Sweet Loretta was a neck in front of her last time but could struggle to confirm that form with both her and Blythewood who wasn't far back in fourth. Kana Bell has claims on the pick of her form but seems best watched at present.
Cielo Song and Truckee River both placed in similar company on their last runs and their chances have to be respected here. However, TOMMIE'S STAR impressed in pulling clear of the field earlier this month and is taken to find sufficient improvement to go in again. Rolling Honor is lightly raced and may be up to playing a hand following his first run in more than a year last month.
Been Patient might just need this run, his first for over a year and preference is for TUPI who scored at the first time of asking for Michelle Sharp. He's recorded his best speed figures at this trip and trainer and jockey are in form. Jazzing improved from his reappearance to beat all bar the winner last month and could provide the biggest threat to the selection.
In good form since returning from a four-month break, RIVER KWAI is fancied to make it three wins from five starts this year. Already a three-time winner from just four starts in 2006, Accountant's Dream is the most logical alternative, while Parisiana, who has hit the crossbar on five occasions since early December, is unlikely to be far away.
Freshened up during an eight-week break, A Firm Bridge is a danger on his best form, as is Triple X. who finished second last time out but was promoted to first following the winner's disqualification. Preference is for LEARNING, however, as she has been running really well in defeat this year and boasts the best turf speed among today's starters.
Making her first appearance since January, Sonotas Secret won over this distance on dirt at Pimlico last month and could run a big race if just as effective on turf, but with seven victories and two runner-up prizes from eleven starts since the beginning of 2005, BRIGHT GOLD is very hard to oppose. Of the remainder, Debbie Sue makes most appeal.
It is hard to get away from the chances of LIL TEXAS, who drops in class in an attempt to lose his maiden tag. His recent second against stronger opposition reads well in this company and there is every chance he has more to offer on this third start since returning from an absence. Alsoknownas Bubba has claims but a bigger danger could be Rockahock.
