SOUTHAMPTON improved a bundle on his debut effort when a solid second at Punchestown last time out. He handled the testing ground well there and looks the one to beat. Leblon shaped well first time over timber when second at Gowran latest and should learn plenty from the experience. She's another who likes it soft and has place claims. Strain Of Fame wasn't disgraced at Fairyhouse last time and can run into a place for Willie Mullins.
Alaivan was installed as favourite for the Triumph Hurdle following his emphatic win at Gowran last week and that form can receive its first boost here courtesy of Leblon, beaten 13 lengths by Edward O'Grady's exciting prospect on that occasion. Southampton and Stir On The Sea look the 2 most likely to chase the selection home.

FOR BILL has been carrying all before him at bumper level and landed the hat-trick in good style at Navan last time. It was testing ground that day and he looks a useful hurdling prospect. Lady Roberta is getting the hang of things and enjoyed the drop to this distance when third at Listowel last time. A repeat of that would put her on the premises, while Prairie Call's best effort so far came over this trip and she can't be ruled out.
Lady Roberta could be the call here on her first start for Gordon Elliott. Prairie Call is her nearest rival of those with hurdles form, though the unbeaten For Bill could prove a danger to all on her first start over timber.

He should be thereabouts, while Horseguard went well at Naas latest and has claims in an open contest.
Clifton Pier is unexposed and could be the answer in an uninspiring handicap. Magdoodle and Horseguard are a couple of others to consider.

KEMPES was useful over hurdles for Willie Mullins and has the scope to make a nice chaser. He has no problem with this testing ground and shapes as though the 2m4f trip won't be a problem. Rocco's Hall is another who has done well enough over the smaller obstacles and should be on the premises after a fair run at Fairyhouse latest. Indifference Curve didn't fire over hurdles at Fairyhouse last time but was an excellent second on his last chase start and can fill the frame.
It's hard to look past the classy Kempes on his chasing bow, even though 2m may prove to be his best trip, as it is over hurdles. Caim Hill and Fier Destrier bring some decent form to the table and probably won't be too far away.

PICKAPOCKETORTWO is the latest bumper horse to come off the Willie Mullins productions line. He's nicely bred and this won't take a lot of winning. Ross Na Righ showed some promise when third at Gowran latest and can hit the frame again, while Majestic Mayhem did well in the pointing field and is one to watch on this bumper debut.
It will be a surprise if the winner comes from outside the trio of Pickapocketortwo, Ross Na Righ and Rock The Bock, and they are selected in that order.
