TSWALU has been frustrating, but may be worth another chance. Joseph O'Brien's charge has now run up a sequence of six placed efforts and may not have quite seen out the extended mile and a half at Bellewstown. Her previous run over a bit further than 1m2f at Cork was a solid effort and a reproduction of that may be enough. Etawa hasn't really progressed from a promising debut. She's tried in a visor now, having been in blinkers last time, and has shown enough to be a big player in this. Walk The Highline has a few lengths to find with the selection from Cork, but is another who has to be considered.
TSWALU sets the standard here with a current mark of 83; she has plenty of experience under her belt with 7 career runs, and she can put that to good use and finally get off the mark in this. Placing 2nd on 4 of her runs at present, she has been beaten at short odds previously but has bumped into some nice types during those runs, and back down in trip at the sort of distance she has run best at previously, she can get her head in front for the very first time here. Matrice also comes from the Joseph O'Brien yard and is another one who has plenty of experience under her belt; she was a decent 2nd last time and can push her stablemate all the way but might have to settle for another 2nd place finish here. And Walk The Highline was beaten at odds on two runs back; she ran well to claim 3rd spot last time and could settle for that same place finish in this contest.

SO GOLDEN may prove the pick in a tricky contest. The Golden Horn filly ran a big race on her debut at Ballinrobe when losing out to classy jumper Buddy One. She didn't appear comfortable on the track in the closing stages at Tramore last time, but it was a solid effort to finish third to Kingstonian. There is still scope for improvement. Coul Dreamer showed some smart form over timber last season and was also placed a couple of times on the level in 2024. He's a potential danger. Eternal Echo is another winning hurdler who has to be respected now trying his hand on the Flat.
YOUNG CHURCHILL is 0 for 7 on the flat but was a winner over hurdles back in July at Roscommon, so he does know how to get his head in front. A decent enough 4th when coming back onto the flat last time out, he has since dropped 2 lbs in the weights after that effort and is now stepping down in trip slightly. He came 2nd in a Listowel Maiden back in September of last year on this sort of trip; therefore, with an effort like that here, he is the one to beat. So Golden is very lightly raced with just the two runs to her name; she placed on both of her starts so far and can run well in this now stepping down in trip. And Coul Dreamer has also won over hurdles, yet he is yet to win in 4 runs on the flat. He is having his first run of 2025 here; therefore, if he is fit and ready to go, he can fill the places for his patient connections.

CURROY LADY didn't appear to get home over further at Sligo last time and may be able to strike again now. The Ulysses filly won over a similar trip to this at Ballinrobe previously and there looks to be another race in her off a 5lb higher mark. Ms Olivia ran well when chasing home Jasmine Affanalis at Tipperary on her second handicap start and is a potential danger. Le Fleur Princess was half a length behind Ms Olivia last time and is now 3lb better off so has to come into calculations.
A real tricky race with not any real decent form to go on; MS OLIVIA was 2nd last time out on just her 5th ever start. She was only beaten by just under 2 lengths in the end and does have a 2 lb raise in the weights to deal with here, but if she can replicate the run from last time in this, she will be hard to beat. That is probably some of the best bits of form on offer in this, and given the fact she still looks to be learning on the job, she can do well here. Le Fleur Princess is yet to win in four career runs but was a nice enough 4th last time out at Tipperary (the race Ms Olivia came 2nd in). She is 1 lb lower in the weights here after that run; therefore, another good run is expected here, but she might have to settle for 2nd place. And Curroy Lady won on her penultimate start at Ballinrobe; she disappointed when sent off as the short-priced favourite next time but was running off the higher mark. Now 1 lb lower than her last run, she can run well and claim a place in this.

IRON FIST didn't run too badly when mid-division at Galway and should appreciate a bit more ease in the ground. The New Bay gelding won a Killarney maiden in testing conditions in July and may have a bit more upside than some of his rivals here. Expound should appreciate going a bit further again. He is a consistent sort and Dylan O'Connor taking 7lb off his back should help. Sinbad My Dad ran a solid race when attempting to complete a Leopardstown double and is another for the shortlist.
IRON FIST comes from a powerful yard, and he was a nice enough winner on his penultimate start at Killarney, where he landed a maiden contest by three-quarters of a length. He went up 3 lbs in the weights after that victory and did slightly disappoint next time out when only managing a 6th place finish but was always keeping on at the same pace in the closing stages. Back down to the same mark as what he won his maiden on, he can make that pay here and win this contest. Shane Foley is back on board (he won in his two starts back); therefore, he can make it two wins in his last three runs. Zipster was also a winner on his penultimate start, landing a handicap contest at Killarney by three-quarters of a length. He disappointed next time out but has dropped back down in the weights and is just 3 lbs higher than his last winning mark. He can run well in this contest but might have to settle for 2nd spot. And Truth Be Told is yet to win in 8 runs; a decent enough 4th place finish last time out would suggest he can run well and fill the places in this race.

WARAZAM has been placed in three of her last four races and has a stronger chance than most in this field. She is holding her form well and, crucially, will handle cut in the ground. Chou Chou is not without his quirks, but has the ability to be a player off a mark of 48. Shane Foley gets the leg-up for the first time and is a good booking for the four-year-old gelding. He made the breakthrough at Tipperary in July and has prospects of doubling his total. Lohengrin will be hard to beat after a plan came together on the beach at Laytown last week. He does have a welter burden of 10st 6lb to overcome, though.
Most of these come into this race off the back of disappointing runs; however, WARAZAM comes into this off the back of a 3rd and 4th place finish. He came 3rd at Navan in July, and then he went on to come 4th at Gowran Park next time out off a 3 lb higher mark. He was sent off as the favourite that day, so he did disappoint; however, he has now dropped 1 lb in the weights, and in a slightly easier contest, he can run well in this. Lohengrin has plenty of experience under his belt with 22 career runs; he has only registered 1 win in the process, which was a maiden contest on the beach of Laytown last time out. Running well in handicap company the time before that, he can do well in this but might have to settle with another 2nd place finish. And Chou Chou was a winner of the mark of 62 back in July; he has been running well since then, but with a 2 lb drop in the weights since his last run, he can go well here and land another place finish.

TEED UP has been freshened up since his Galway exertions and appeals in a good race. He won a staying handicap on the Flat in Ballybrit before finishing a fair fourth in a handicap hurdle three days later. He's unlikely to be stopping at the end of this stamina test. Bottler'secret is a 137-rated hurdler having his second start for Aidan Melia and is actually two from three on the Flat, so he has to enter calculations. Royal Hollow wasn't a factor in two Galway contests, but she does have the capabilities for this assignment and shouldn't be underestimated. Jabbar, Shoda (first-time tongue-strap), Party Dress and the tough Happy Jacky add further spice to the mix.
SHODA has been progressing nicely this season after some decent runs at Naas in February, at this venue in July and at Tramore last time out, placing in all three of those runs. She was beaten as the odds-on favourite last time out but was beaten by a well-treated rival who had been slipping down the handicap. Running off the same mark here as last time, she can finally get her head in front for the very first time in 2025. Palamon is a real dual-purpose type who runs on the flat, over hurdles and even over fences; he placed on the flat at Dundalk and Gowran Park back in March and April of this year. He can run well at this sort of trip and grab another place finish under his belt. And Not Just Any Eagle has won four times on the turf; he was 3rd behind Shoda at Tramore last time. He can run well once again but might have to settle with filling the places here.

SEQUOIASPIRIT is a credit to connections and has the chance to ring up his seventh career victory. He's already a five-time winner on the Flat and has also been plying his trade to good effect over hurdles, with a fourth at the Galway Festival and a runner-up berth in Killarney last month. Weather Alert has been mostly out of form over flights, but reverts to the level off a very appealing mark. Takarengo, who was placed on his last two starts, is well in the hunt for more prize money, while The Mediator cannot be dismissed lightly.
THE MEDIATOR comes from a powerful National Hunt yard; a winner over hurdles, he is yet to win on the flat but has won a bumper back in his early days, back on debut in 2021. A winner of a Fairyhouse maiden back in November when sent off the odds-on favourite, he has since been mixing it up on the flat and over obstacles, running in some decent handicap contests recently. He has dropped a couple of pounds since his last run on the level; he is now down to an attractive-looking flat mark. Therefore, he can get off the mark in this at the ninth attempt. Takarengo is another consistent dual-purpose type with plenty of runs on the flat and over obstacles; he has placed on his last two runs on the flat, therefore he can go well in this. Although he might have to settle with another 2nd place finish behind a potentially well-treated rival of Gordon Elliott's. And Movie King is yet to win in nine runs on the flat; he has crept down to a low mark and can utilise that here by landing a place.

DARK NOTE could snap a frustrating sequence of three runner-up spots in a row. His second in a much higher grade at Killarney in July has been franked by the winner, and slower ground holds no fears for him. He knows where the winning post is with four successes across all codes. Migdam was a comfortable winner of a Tramore maiden hurdle last month and ought to be a factor off a mark of 65 here. Ehteyat kept on for third over an extended 1m6f in Killarney and is one for the shortlist over this trip, while No Big Deal and Make Good are others pitching for a cheque.
DARK NOTE has been running well in chases recently, and he comes back onto the level after a pretty good 2nd at Killarney back in July, where he ran well but was ultimately beaten by a well-treated rival that day. He did beat the favourite in that race and was always keeping on nicely as they got towards the line, just not having the pace for the eventual winner. He runs off the same mark in this as last time, which was the same winning mark as when he won at Leopardstown earlier on in the season, and if he can replicate that run, then he will win in this. Tassarolo holds the record of 1 win in 5 runs on the turf and hada nice 4th last time out over a shorter trip. If he can handle this step up in trip, then he could land a place for a yard going well at present. And Spanish John's mark has crept down into the 50s; a winner off the mark of 51 back in May, he can go well in this and claim 3rd spot after some decent runs over hurdles recently.
