EARL OF SANDWICH (3) was pretty disappointing last start after finishing a strong second at his start prior, he is better than that and the step up in distance could be the key to him finding his best form. PITRAIN (1) was making up steady ground last start and looks to have a future over the middle distances. He doesn't have to improve much to be a big chance. Include. EYES OF DUBAI (4) ran on well last time out in what was his first run in South Australia. He should keep on improving and will appreciate any easing in the ground. Watch closely.

BARACONI (3) was heavily supported and proved too strong for his opposition last start. He stays in a similar grade and only rises 1kg. Now that he has found his best form again he is expected to hold it and should be very hard to beat. MRS HYDE (6) is a speedy mare who gets the blinkers added for the first time and around this circuit she should take some running down. The 2kg claim is also a plus. Include. TWO ODD SOX (7) has come back this season in good form with a brace of second placings. He is somewhat known for running in the money rather that winning but will get few better chances than this to rack up another win. OAKFIELD GERONIMO (2) is having his first run in South Australia and his form in Queensland has at times been very good. The change of scenery might bring the best out of him and a market watch is advised. Can win.

ARCHWAY TO HEAVEN (3) was trying for an all the way win last start when fresh up and did well to hang on for second. That run would have cleaned him up nicely and he has yet to finish out of the money on this track. Hard to beat. TAJAVEDO (6) is a consistent type that always tries his best. He has been knocking on the door at his most recent runs and deserves another win. Each way. CENTRE SCOOTA (9) looked to be in need of his fresh up run and finished in the back half of the field. He has a much better record second up and has form on the track. Expect a much better effort here. Can win. RUBBLE (2) was making up ground late fresh up and should be much fitter this time. He draws perfectly and drops slightly in grade for this. A win would not be a total surprise. Include in all multiples.

VIRTUE (1) has promised more than she has delivered lately but the ability is there. The blinkers are added and the step up in distance hopefully bring the best out of this mare. She is capable of winning this at nice odds. FREE OF SIN (4) has been racing in tougher company recently and wasn't beaten far in the city last start. She drops in distance for this and looks well placed after the 1.5kg apprentice claim. Hard to beat from the handy draw. GATSBY'S GIRL (5) went around at huge odds fresh up and was fair in finishing fifth, she should improve immensely with that run under her belt and has yet to finish out of the money second up. The extra distance here is ideal and she won't be far away. PHILLYVONNE (2) could not have been more impressive when winning on debut, franking her solid trial form. She has another wide draw to contend with and is also up 4kgs in weight but with plenty of upside she shouldn't be held in this grade for long.
