NATAL was seen finishing second to Twist Magic in the Grade 1 Kerrygold Champion Chase this time last year and despite a couple of disappointing efforts of late, he looks to have been found a good opportunity here and could prove hard to beat dropped in class. Paul Nicholls rarely has runners in this grade and his charge can prove too strong for Cousin Nicky who comes here at the top of his game following an impressive success at Taunton last month. Another who has been in good heart of late is Andrew Nick and he rates best of the rest.

FISTRAL BEACH may be worth one more chance now equipped with blinkers for the first time. He has plenty of talent and seems to be settling better in his races recently, but looked to be keeping something back for himself when outbattled by Ffos Las Diamond at this track earlier this month. The blinkers might help to focus his attentions in the finish. China Gold looks the clear danger and deserves to win a race of this type. Creagh Bay is the other to consider.
