GRUMPY CHARLEY got off the mark over timber at the third attempt on his latest effort over C&D when getting the better of the reopposing Real Stone following a couple of promising efforts in December. The six-year-old meets Dan Skelton's gelding on 7lb worse terms, with his rider's claim factored in, but he is open to further improvement and is taken to confirm the form. MOUSEINTHEHOUSE was in fantastic form at Ffos Las throughout 2020, winning twice and then going close on his other two starts. Beaten less than a length into second off just 2lb lower last time, Evan Williams' charge can go one better in this. Diamond Brig took advantage of a falling mark when successful at Uttoxeter latest but will need to find more off 5lb higher here, while Destin D'Ajonc and Rostello have both dropped in the handicap despite some respectable efforts in defeat.

Super Six had something of an eventful journey when successful at Haydock on debut and finished off by jinking and unseating his rider after the finish. Some of that may have been greenness, but it may be that he's not entirely straightforward and perhaps LEBOWSKI can strike. Adrian Wintle's gelding got within a short head of success on his first start for the yard and the third from that race has placed again since. Chanceux made a decent fist of things from the front in desperate conditions at Bangor last time and could be a big player if getting loose on the lead.
