Wichita Lineman battled on gamely to score at Newbury but looks vulnerable under the prevailing conditions. There are no such doubts about TIDAL BAY who scored impressively here in December and he should be hard to keep out of the frame. Carlitos can improve for the longer trip but has something to find, while Zilcash is likely to have to settle for a minor role again.

An Accordion is a really promising sort but he still looks novicey at his fences and that could prove crucial. Peter Bowen has his string in good order at present and YES SIR (well backed for the King George) can bounce back from a below par run in the Feltham and get back on track today. Flying Enterprise and Nouveau Maire are respected, Good Citizen and Ofarel D'Airy have more to offer and Character Building's sound jumping should stand him in good stead.

The talented Our Vic has often disappointed so has to be taken on despite a visually impressive win at Wetherby and possibly being better suited by a lighter campaign. Neptune Collonges and Halcon Genelardais will relish these conditions and Idle Talk is no back number but they should ensure a strong pace which will enable the doubtful stayer EXOTIC DANCER to creep into contention and he has sound claims if he can last up the hill. This is a step up for Cailin Alainn but she takes her place here on merit.
