Discoverie remains in good form but has another 7lb rise to contend with and he might want slower ground than this, while Trojan Star is an intriguing contender at the foot of the weights for Kim Bailey, who rarely has runners at this track. FUTURE GILDED was heavily supported in the betting at Doncaster last time out but didn't get any further than the first. His work at home has clearly been of a decent standard and perhaps he can reward his supporters with compensation.
FUTURE GILDED departed early on his comeback at Doncaster last month but the fact he was backed into favouritism looks significant and he's worth siding with to gain compensation. There was plenty to like about SNAPPING TURTLE's recent course and distance success and the veteran has been found a decent opportunity to follow up. He is 21lb lower than he was at the beginning of last year and could launch a bold bid to follow up. Simmply Sam probably needed the run last time out and has the services of Brian Hughes once more, while Miss Barbossa and Agent Louise make this a competitive affair.
SIMMPLY SAM shaped as if needing the run on her return and gets the vote back up in trip with Brian Hughes once again taking the ride. Snapping Turtle was slightly fortunate to get the race here last time but should still go well again, while Miss Barbossa is much less exposed than a lot of these and is likely to figure if her stamina holds.
