HARPOON was placed in Grade 3 company last year and although he's regressed since, he's more than capable of making his presence felt now operating at this low level. Financial Mogul and Mizner Park can battle it out for the minor money.
DIA DE ENCANTA continues to run with credit on turf and has an obvious chance if taking to dirt this evening. Stormy Sky is feared most, though a big run from Tia Lana would also come as no surprise.
Trainer Chad Brown is double-handed with two ex-European fillies and his Hellenistic is worth monitoring in the betting, though preference is for stablemate WATER HOLE, who disappointed under a restrained ride last time and could be seen to better effect under more forceful handling. Dido could build on her latest effort and also take a hand.
HUNDRED YEAR STORM wouldn't settle on her debut at Gulfstream in March and did well to finish as close as six lengths to the winner in what appeared a decent maiden. Kinsley has a record of going well fresh and is considered on her return, while Early Snow is entitled to improve on her debut run and may also figure.
SO YOU SAY left a favourable impression on debut and although she disappointed second time out, it may have been the trip that beat her and she gets the verdict now reverting to sprinting. Mrs. Hudson and Jubilant Vision are the likely improvers and are the pair feared most.
BEST MAN turned in an improved effort over 7f last month and is expected to build on that effort now dropping back to this shorter trip. Ground Control is respected now moving into claiming company, while Escapist has claims on his best form.
AVE'S HALO faded over seven furlongs on her return but could strip fitter for that outing and improve for this shorter trip. First Whippoorwill and Chelsea Road can chase the selection home to land the minor money.
DRAXHALL WOODS went off too hard when slightly below his best last time but he will take the world of beating if ridden with slightly more restraint this time. Ziptronic poses a big threat on his return from a break with Great Attack next best.
MY KINDA GAL has been progressing with each start and will find this less competitive than the Keeneland maiden she contested last time. She gets the nod, though Winter Wish and Shotgun Love won't be far away.
